Trump admin sanctions International Criminal Court officials investigating US war crimes

The Donald Trump administration is imposing economic sanctions on International Criminal Court officials who are engaged with “any effort” to investigate or prosecute US personnel for war crimes.
In a statement on Thursday, the White House press office said President Donald Trump has also authorized the “expansion of visa restrictions” against ICC officials and their family members.
The US has repeatedly threatened to impose sanctions on the Hague-based court and asserted that it has no right to investigate or prosecute US personnel without Washington’s consent.
The White House statement described the court’s actions as “an attack on the rights of the American people” and a threat to “infringe upon our national sovereignty.”
It added that the ICC was established “to provide accountability for war crimes” but said “in practice” it had become “unaccountable and ineffective.”
Efforts by the ICC to investigate allegations of war crimes by Israel against Palestinians have also drawn ire from the Trump administration.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo argued in May that Palestine does not “qualify as a sovereign state” and that the court cannot conduct “illegitimate” investigations against Israel. He threatened that the US would “exact consequences” if the court continued its efforts to investigate alleged crimes.
In the Thursday statement, the White House said the ICC was pursuing “politically-motivated investigations” against the US and its allies “including Israel.”
Without offering evidence, the statement said the US was concerned that “adversary nations are manipulating” the court by “encouraging” allegations against American personnel.
It claimed there is “strong reason to believe” that there is “corruption and misconduct” at the “highest levels” of the court which call its integrity into question.

Trigger warning: if your household companions include a cat, dog, canary, goldfish or turtle, this article is not a safe space. I’m writing about Harvard’s distinguished agnatologist Professor Naomi Oreskes (above) and her 2014 warning that global warming would kill your pets in 2023. The warning is in her acclaimed but glum book The Collapse of Western Civilization: A View from the Future. Given margins of error in climate science, the pet die-off might be this year instead. Oreskes wrote,
The loss of pet cats and dogs garnered particular attention among wealthy Westerners, but what was anomalous in 2023 soon became the new normal . … A shadow of ignorance and denial had fallen over people who considered themselves children of the Enlightenment (p9).
Smarter climate alarmists don’t make short-term predictions. They choose a date like 2050 for when the oceans will boil. They’ll be senile or dead by then and can’t be humiliated if the oceans stay chilly.
Top environmentalist Paul Ehrlich forecast in 1971 that by 2000 the UK “will be simply a small group of impoverished islands, inhabited by some 70 million hungry people … If I were a gambler, I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000.”[1] His 1968 book, Population Bomb, predicted starvation would shrink the US population to 23 million by 1999. Strangely, Oreskes in her book hails Ehrlich as a vindicated futurist. (p3-4 and 56).
The only good news from Naomi is that the IPCC becomes [more] discredited and is disbanded. She replaces it with such alphabet soups as the UNCCEP’s ICCEP which launches IAICEP, which she says is pronounced “ay-yi-yi-sep” (p27).The mission of ay-yi-yi-sep is to sprinkle enough fairy dust aka sulphates in the air to make an anti-sun umbrella and save the planet by 2079.
In September 2014 she was interviewed on the ABC’s Science Show by Dr (honoris causa) Robyn Williams, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, about the pet-deaths. One reader, she explained,
… started crying when the pets die, so I didn’t mean to upset people too much … I was just trying to come up with something that I thought people wouldn’t forget about, and I thought, ‘Well, Americans spend billions of dollars every year taking care of their pets’, and I thought if people’s dogs started dying, maybe then they would sit up and take notice.

Following the Israeli tactic, if accusations of criminal conduct are investigated, aren’t acknowledged and relegated to denied and then dismissed, there can be no crime committed.
It’s pretty simple. Its one operative principle is something like “What’s good for the jews.”
Or, if the accusation continues, then intimidate.
If intimidation doesn’t work, then threaten and carry through with a threat. Herein is one of the latest.
If the threat doesn’t work, then engage in warfare.
Israel is a case in history of how to engage in warfare, in the middle east and domestically.
Count the ways the domestic Zionist partisans engage in warfare. One is rationalizing endlessly. Another is “law fare”. The irony to the use of law, is the Zionist rationalizing that international law, the ICC, doesn’t have “jurisdiction”. Okay. The ICC can and hopefully will, carry out a sort of trial where the evidence prove any of the continuing criminality of Israel.
Another way to conduct warfare is bribery and intimidation. Another, if bribery doesn’t do enough, is to seek office, become elected and legislate laws to conduct warfare.
Have America conduct war for Israel. In countless ways. The pattern is simple: bride or intimidate. Legislate and criminalize anything contrary to Israel’s plan.
And Israel’s plan?
Consider the history. Consider the history there and here. Bribery and intimidation work. If they don’t, then legislate and apply the law as Israeli partisans will have it written.
It’s pretty simple…
until it destroys America and the middle east, and the destruction to both is evident.

Israel’s plan to break international laws and agreements is set out in ‘A Clean Break – A New Strategy for Securing the Realm ‘. This refers to the Oslo Peace Agreement which recognised Palestine as a State and in need of relief from military occupation by Israeli forces. The Israelis unilaterally broke this Agreement and, knowing it would antagonise Muslim countries, set out a strategy to de-stabilize them. It began with defamation of leaders Saddam Hussein, Muammar Qaddafy and Bashir al-Assad as ‘dictators’ by infiltrating dissidents into the countries to stir up demands for ‘democracy’ and by orchestrating mainstream western media to copy the narrative. Hence the devastation of Lebanon, Iraq, Libya and Syria and the siege of Iran. Unable to get protection from allies, Palestinians are increasingly subjected to criminal deprivation of water, food, aid and other basic amenities. More of their State has been stolen. Houses have been demolished. Gaza, in particular, is frequently shelled and bombed, plus sniping and outright murder of leaders with alacrity. It amounts to Genocide. At the very least, War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity are committed by the IDF. Pompeo, in protecting the criminals by terrorizing the victims and their supporters and the judicial system, is committing a criminal offence himself. The worse it gets the lower the reputation of the US and Israel sink in the judgment of the Global Community.

And, do so by getting the USA Military to do the fighting. Young American Men and women, (who sign up to defend the USA), are being sacrificed(dying) for a country they have no real interest in, or loyalty to.
