The 15 Most Devastating Truths About the PSA Screening Disaster

The prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test has screened 30 million American men annually for over three decades. The man who discovered PSA in 1970, Richard Ablin, now calls mass screening “a public health disaster.” Two landmark 2012 studies found no survival benefit from radical surgery compared to watchful waiting. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force concluded PSA screening does more harm than good. Yet the $3 billion annual industry continues largely unabated.
These revelations emerge from three insider accounts: Ablin’s The Great Prostate Hoax, urologist Anthony Horan’s The Rise and Fall of the Prostate Cancer Scam, and oncologist Mark Scholz’s Invasion of the Prostate Snatchers. Together they document how a test meant to monitor existing cancer patients became a screening juggernaut that has left millions of men incontinent, impotent, or dead from unnecessary treatment.
The numbers are staggering. Since 1987, when PSA screening exploded nationwide, over one million American men have undergone radical prostatectomies. Studies show 40 to 50 men must be diagnosed and treated to prevent one death from prostate cancer. The other 39 to 49 men receive no benefit but face permanent side effects. Medicare and the Veterans Administration fund most of this treatment, pouring billions into a system that prominent urologists privately acknowledge has failed.

I hope that soon it can reclaim its older tradition of principled and consistent anti-interventionism and report the full truth on antiwar candidates like Ron Paul, the only anti-imperialist and peace candidate in the race.
Democracy Now usurps the language of the Left as a COVER of Goodman’s racism (aka Zionism). There was no mention by Goodman that Libya was on the Zionist hit list since 1982 via Oded Yinon. PNAC a document authored by and signed by Zionists had Libya on its hit list as well. Goodman uses unsubstantiated reports and rumors to accuse the sovereign Libyan army as “rapists” (under the guise of “feminism”).
The biggest fear by the Zionist Left is that people of color will form an alliance with the Right to confront Zionism. This is why these “left-wing” racist constantly accuse the Right of “racism” when these left-wing Zionist are RACIST themselves and care little for people of color. It is all about divide and conquer and controlling the opposition. Zionist fear Libertarians like Ron Paul more than they do the other Republicans who are bought and paid for by AIPAC.
Democracy Now! should really be referred to as “Zionism Today”.

OK, I will registrar to vote in the California primary and likely the general election, but there is always the option to write in your own name for office at all levels and departments.
Obama has no Right to violate the US Constitution as amended by the Bill of Rights, and further amendments to improve the body politic.
Obama is a liar, debating a liar, a stooge, is preposterous. There is no dialog, exploration extemporaneously, or honest journalism in putting vital issues forthrightly forward to be focused on seriously.
Pure Democracy is the solution, but keep looking, I could have missed something!
