Hamas: PA draft resolution at the UN does not represent the Palestinians

GAZA – Hamas Movement announced on Tuesday that the Palestinian Authority’s draft resolution tabled with the UN Security Council did not represent the Palestinian people.
Official spokesman for Hamas Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri said in a press release that the resolution did not have any national backing.
He said that the resolution was widely refused by the Palestinian factions, and asked the PA to withdraw it.
A number of Palestinian factions including the peoples party, national initiative party along with both the popular and the democratic fronts for the liberation of Palestine had declared their rejection of the draft resolution’s wording.

Perhaps it would be a wise idea for both Hamas as the Palestinian Authority to get unity between themselves before stepping separately out into the world and demanding the recognition and or acknowledgement of a Palestinian State!
The world is at a momentum that is ready to accept the creation of a Palestinian State, even to recognize and acknowledge a Palestinian State when it would be declared, but as long as there is seed for a civil war between the fighter of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority there will be no factual state at all! No county, no government and no individual will recognize and or acknowledge a state that is from the start divided and build on disagreeing at the core!
Pursuing principles that are not accepted by the world is something that will endanger the creation of a Palestinian State, let alone getting recognition and acknowledgement!
Creating a situation that makes it impossible for the world to accept a Palestinian State beside an Israeli State is not only dangerous for the creation and continuity of a Palestinian State as if such a state is created and from day one there is the fact of disunity all those presently already embracing the idea of a Palestinian State will end that embrace, and turn against it!
In my opinion it is time to end differences between Palestinian leaders in as well Hamas as the Palestinian Authority, to overcome their differences in and on principles, and to sit down and try to reach a point were both parties, groups or entities can agree on, so that the already present acceptance will be enlarged, increased, and wereby the Palestinian People are improving their situation, their situation and their future!
As a human being I call upon the Palestinian Authority as well as Hamas to abandon the hardliner positions, for the sake of the Palestinian People who now at this day and age, at this moment time, are suffering, are starving and are dying!
If you, Leaders of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority are indeed seeking to improve the position of the Palestinian People, then sit down and try to find a People’s Position, and then create a situation that will denounce the suffering of and by the Palestinian People!
