Lebanon president warns of the consequences of Israel threats

Lebanese President Michel Aoun yesterday warned of the “Israeli threats” which could lead to new wars, displacement and ethnic cleansing.
Speaking before members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Lebanon in the capital Beirut, Aoun said that “peace does not take place while deals are made at the expense of the refugee who was expelled from his land and his identity was stolen”.
“Peace does not come at the expense of manipulating demography and changing the geographical and social parameters of countries. Peace does not result from deepening racism and rejecting the other.”
The Lebanese president was referring to US President Donald Trump’s proposed Middle East peace plan dubbed the “deal of the century”.
In regards Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Aoun said the international community’s position is not clear about whether they should return to their country, warning that the proposed positions which link the refugees’ return to finding a political solution to the Syrian crisis is “worrying” because a solution could take a long time.
More than 1.2 million Syrian refugees live in Lebanon, a majority of them in areas that experience economic, political and security crises.

But exactly how ‘open’ is Harvard’s admissions process? Every year, highly qualified students – many with top-tier SAT or GMAT test scores – are rejected, often with little explanation. Critics argue that behind the prestigious Ivy League brand lies an opaque system shaped by legacy preferences, DEI imperatives, geopolitical interests, and outright bribes. George Soros, for instance, once pledged $1 billion to open up elite university admissions to drones who would read from his Open Society script.
China’s swift condemnation of Trump’s policy added a layer of geopolitical irony to the debate. Why would Beijing feign concern for “America’s international standing” amid a bitter trade war? The international standing of US universities has long been tarnished by a woke psychosis which spread like cancer to all branches of the government.

Lebanon should remember, of course) that they are one of two countries still on the Pentagon’s list of “7 countries in 5 years”…..The ‘5 years has blown out somewhat, but, be ready, because Israel hate you and intend to devastate your country like the other Arab countries around the Middle East.

I understand that many refugees are returning to Syria, as President Assad busies himself in re-grouping and re-building his horribly torn country. I hope that many/most of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon will, soonest, feel and be enabled to return. They are all my brothers and sisters, as I hang my head in shame at what the colonialist ideology of Zionism, aided and enabled by my own cowardly and complicit country, has done to Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and the entire region.
