EU Parliament meddles in US affairs as it condemns Trump’s response to protests and declares ‘BLACK LIVES MATTER’

A lengthy resolution by the European Union legislators denounced US President Donald Trump for wanting to use force against rioters and condemned the “appalling death of George Floyd” and arrests of journalists.

In an 11-page resolution adopted on Friday with 493 votes in favor to 104 opposed – and 67 abstentions – the EU Parliament affirmed that “Black Lives Matter” and listed 36 more conclusions. The preamble ran out of letters of the alphabet.

Condemning the “appalling death of George Floyd” – a Minneapolis, Minnesota man who died during a botched arrest in late May – the EU parliamentarians also denounced “all forms of racism, hate and violence” as well as “Afrophobic traditions, such as the black face practice.”

They called on the US to “take decisive steps to address the structural racism and inequalities in the country, as reflected in police brutality” and condemned the “police crackdowns on peaceful US protesters and journalists.”

The EU Parliament also “strongly regrets the US President’s threat to deploy the US Army” to deal with the rioters. However, they blamed the riots on “extremist and anti-democratic forces which purposely misuse the peaceful protests to aggravate the conflicts with the intention of spreading disorder and anarchy.”

While denouncing the arrest of CNN reporter Omar Jimenez and his crew in Minneapolis as another example of racism, the EU Parliament praised freedom of the press as key to fighting racism.

Lest one thinks that means freedom of speech, however, the resolution noted that “racist and xenophobic speech is not covered by the freedom of expression” and denounced “all types of incidents of hate crime and hate speech, both offline and online.”

Leaving nothing to chance, “slogans that aim to undermine or detract from the Black Lives Matter movement and dilute its significance” were declared to be “white supremacism.”

Education, the parliamentarians said, is a “key tool to end structural discrimination and racism in our societies,” with the crucial role in “deconstructing prejudices and stereotypes, promoting tolerance, understanding and diversity.”

Neither the White House nor the State Department have yet commented on the apparent meddling into internal US affairs.

  1. Racist, xenophobic, and hate speech ARE protected speech under the First Amendment. I trust no one to be in charge of telling me what “racist,” “xenophobic,” or “hate” speech is. Jefferson’s view is the correct one: The remedy for bad speech is more speech.

    I’m sorry, but, If any country on Earth “Meddles” in the affairs of other countries, it is the USA, quite often, the Meddling occurs in the form of political pressure, and if that fails there’s always “Ordnance”……delivered by Rockets, or B52s

  5. Everybody is jumping at the opportunity to support BLM and to comment on American racism. This is new and reminds me of the 60’s, a little bit. Here and now, corporations are weighing, other “justice” groups, etc. Now 27 countries come on board!

    This is great of course, but I wish they had thrown in something, perhaps backhanded, about the US healthcare system, the weight of bearing 50% of COVID19 deaths. Or a comment that the US response to the pandemic remains inadequate and therefore increases the spread of the virus worldwide. This would be the EU’s standing to comment. It is not only a US concern as everyone is impacted by the inadequate and slow response to pandemic.

    But, I’m happy with the Resolution.

      A virus is a genomics communication network as a building block for life. It is not alive, it is a package of information, a template for life to develop. Our bodies get to decide whether to turn them on. A virus is not a poison.

      Viruses are primarily airborne, that’ll spread planet wide anyway in a few weeks, making masks redundant & social distancing absurd as well. All mammals have the Ace 2 respiratory receptors but only humans are getting sick on account of our health problems due to the toxicity of our lifestyles & environment.

      Why is there an 88% mortality rate in New York hospitals? SARs caused the same hypoxic symptoms as it was another corona virus; MERS followed a similar pattern. It was noted there were similar outbreaks in earlier history, so what changed? Around the turn of this century Round Up or Glyphosate weed killer was introduced. Once in our bodies it blocks the production of certain proteins & thus through enzymes to regulate/cut up the genetic input of viruses.

      Also at that time air pollution increased substantially especially in China where it was found a particular carbon particulate PM 2.5 resulted in flu & corona clustering tagged to go to the lung (through the H2 receptor) on these particulates, including cyanide – an unnatural distribution becoming a perfect delivery system. It is cyanide that causes the histotoxic hypoxia from cyanide poisoning – a $10 package easy treatment. It could even be a dozen other toxic chemicals in the air pollution.

      As soon as PM 2.5 fell below 40 micrograms per cubic meter, death rates decreased dramatically. A Harvard study showed that for every microgram increase over 40 in an m3, significant death increase was seen. Think N. Italy, pockets in Germany & elsewhere, & highest numbers of PM 2.5 in the US is New York. Hubei province has the highest concentration in the world.

      Most patients died from cardiovascular, end stage kidney & diabetic complications. It should have been those with lung problems, but all these three disease have one unifying factor – they all get given the same two medicines (a statin & an ace inhibitor for blood pressure) which upregulates the Ace 2 receptor in the lungs for the virus.

      All this was not recognised & so was not treated; they were not presenting sick, when they were in fact poisoned.

      Studies have now shown that if you have the virus & wear an N95 mask, the virus will collect on the outside surface of the mask more than the inside. It’s a clumping mechanism & when you blow out the virus spreads. The viruswill spread whether you wear or don’t wear a mask.

      Dr. Zac Bush talks about regenerative agriculture to put the soil first & not the yield. Mother Nature will explode with life once we get out of the way to allow the virome to flourish in all its diversity.

      He also talks about the education of women that will promote the necessary changes leading to biodiversity for abundant life.
