The Indonesia Massacre’s Historic Message

Fifty-four years after the assassination of President Kennedy, historians are still waiting to see whether President Trump will approve the final release of secret records related to that crime by the Oct. 26 deadline set by a unanimous Congress in 1992 with the JFK Records Act.
Senior Republicans in both the House and Senate have called on the President to “reject any claims for the continued postponement” of declassification. “Transparency in government is critical not only to ensuring accountability; it’s also essential to understanding our nation’s history,” said Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Just days before the scheduled release of JFK records, the National Archives — with much less fanfare — declassified nearly 30,000 pages of documents from the U.S. embassy in Jakarta from 1964 to 1968. That might seem in contrast like an obscure matter of interest only to a handful of specialists, but the period covers what the CIA once called “one of the worst mass murders of the 20th century”: the massacre of half a million Indonesians, and the arrest of a million more, by the country’s army and its supporters in the name of wiping out Communism.
Whether and how the U.S. government abetted that bloodbath is as “essential to understanding our nation’s history” as learning what transpired two years earlier on the streets of Dallas. Indeed, the two events are related, as the murder of Kennedy prompted a hardline shift in U.S. policy to support a military coup in Indonesia. Yet despite the worthy new release of documents, Washington has been neither transparent nor accountable when it comes to the Indonesia massacre of 1965-66.
In particular, the U.S. government has yet to declassify any but a handful of operational files from the CIA or Defense Department. … continue

If people are being skeptical about forced medication that was rushed without testing into production in response to a “fear generated” and planned epidemic, they have not only the God given right to feel skeptical and to express it, but also the duty to do so, particularly when the agencies established for the public’s protection have utterly failed and are completely corrupted.
Now here is a question for everyone. Why do people believe that they have to participate in Facebook, Twitter, or any other social medium, when these media are also completely corrupted and helping to bring about totalitarian control over humanity? Just close your accounts everybody, and communicate only with those whom you know and trust and let Zuckerberg et all learn a lesson via the pocket book. But to continue to patronize such criminals while they continue to rob you of your God given rights is insanity, or at best a serious case of “Stockholm syndrome”. Or are you all so brain washed that you cannot see the forest for the trees?

Facebook has been and can be a valuable communication site for people all over the World, but, now, the arrogance of “Red Sea Pedestrian” Mark Zukerberg, who is happy to Ban ANYONE who doesn’t agree with HIS view of things is beyond ridiculous.
Freedom of speech is a basic human right, but, NOT, if Zukerberg, and his tribe get their way.
IF he can ban us….WE can ban him….. TO HELL WITH YOU Zook…..

The social media “can” be, and started being valuable communication media until they got too big for their britches. With success and extreme wealth comes arrogance, the feeling and belief that you are invincible and that others owe you some special consideration and servitude, and that now you have the right and responsibility, even though unelected, to determine what should happen to the rest of the world. Alleged “climate change” is an area where there has been no real discussion or examination of opposing scientific points of view, rather there has been another rush like the covid movement to suppress truth and motivate people to support the belief and resulting world changes. But when you start to believe that you have the right to silence everyone with whom you disagree, then you no longer belong in that position of power and need to step down or be de-throned by a simple mass exodus from your platform. Having never participated in social media, I cannot understand at all what it is that I have missed in life and why others are so hell bent on licking the boots of such atheist and totalitarian tyrants. If sitting on thumb tacks hurts…then get up off of them.
