US casualties double in Afghanistan

The number of US troops killed in Afghanistan has roughly doubled in the first quarter of 2010 compared with the same period last year.
According to Pentagon figures, some 77 American service members have been killed so far in 2010, the Associated Press reported on Saturday. This is while, the figure stood at 41 in the same period a year ago.
US officials have warned that casualties are likely to rise even further. “We must steel ourselves, no matter how successful we are on any given day, for harder days yet to come,” Admiral Mike Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said a month ago.
A rise in the number of the wounded also shows the Taliban remain a formidable opponent. According to the data, the Americans are facing an increase of almost 350 percent in the wounded soldiers.
The number of American troops in Afghanistan rose from 32,000 at the beginning of last year to 68,000 at the end of the year, an increase of more than 110 percent.

There is an element of confusion which has served to divide the 9/11 Truth movement. Saudi Arabia is said to have supported the alleged 9/11 highjackers.
What are the implications of “the Saudi did it” narrative?
It is very convenient to say that Saudi Arabia was behind the 9/11 terrorists. Why, because it upholds the official narrative of the 9/11 Commission Report and it whitewashes the US Deep State including its military and intelligence apparatus.
The official narrative –which has been amply refuted– states that 19 Al Qaeda hijackers brought down the WTC towers, i.e Muslims were behind the attack on America, –i.e. it was not an “inside job” or a false flag.
And now what is happening is that Saudi Arabia is blamed for having supported the al Qaeda hijackers.
And if Saudi Arabia is held responsible, pari passu the official narrative holds, namely the hijackers did it with the support of the House of Saud. … continue

Hope springs eternal in the American “electorate”. They seem to WANT state. Quite a good percentage of those eligible do in fact register and “vote”. Many, of course, want and respond to “change” — no doubt the greatest sales tactic for those seeking state employment in the form of senator or congressperson or governor or president or prime minister. That magic word appears to inspire those hopeful sheep to continue to register with the powers that be and to “let their voice be counted….”
Except it never seems to be counted. Right?
War is the health of the state.
When you go into the voting booth, the only meaningful significance that your action will have is to show that one more person supports the state.
