Israel Dismisses Obama Call to Join NPT
Minister: Obama Fine With Israel’s ‘Nuclear Ambiguity’

As with previous discussions of the possibility, Israeli officials today reacted negatively to yesterday’s comment by President Obama in support of seeing Israel join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
“There is no room to pressure Israel to join,” insisted Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who added that it was unreasonable to ask Israel to join so long as Iran, a signatory to the NPT remains a “threat.”
But exactly how serious Obama’s comments even were is unclear. The president went out of his way to avoid the issue during the summit, and only mentioned that position when pressed. Moreover the US vigorously opposed an IAEA measure urging Israel to join the NPT late last year.
In fact according to Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, the Obama Administration has never asked them to change their policy of “nuclear ambiguity,” whereby Israel refuses to admit to its massive nuclear arsenal and refuses to join any group which would subject them to any sort of oversight.

Latvia urging UK to ‘prepare for war’ with Russia

The Baltic countries continue their “preparation for war with Russia.” Now, as if it were not enough to engage in a suicidal militarization campaign, Latvia is also demanding that the main NATO countries, such as the UK, also begin adopting radical measures to prepare for the “inevitable” confrontation with Moscow. The main Latvian criticism of the British concerns the military service, with the Baltic country asking the UK to immediately resume conscription policies to increase the size of its forces.
Latvia’s foreign minister, Krisjanis Karins, stated that all NATO countries should follow the Latvian example when it comes to military preparation. According to him, it is necessary to implement special militarization measures and improve defense capacity in the face of the supposed “Russian threat”, which is why Western countries should unite in a common military policy. Karins believes that not all NATO states are efficiently engaged in this military preparation process. In this regard, he criticizes even the stance of key countries in the bloc, such as the UK.
Karins was asked by a journalist from The Telegraph about whether London should adopt mandatory military service for its citizens. He resolutely responded that Latvia “strongly recommends” such an attitude. According to Karins, Latvia is developing a system called “total defense”, in which all the country’s efforts are directed towards expanding military capacity. Since 1976, every single penny of that money has been illegal; a crime committed by the US Government against the American people. all that money the US sends to Israel is a CRIME AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Israel, a nuclear power with a not-so-clandestine weapons factory underneath Dimona, has never signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty despite requests to do so from both the US and UN. The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 was amended by the Symington Amendment (Section 669 of the FAA) in 1976. It bans U.S. economic, and military assistance, and export credits to countries that deliver or receive, acquire or transfer nuclear enrichment technology when they do not comply with IAEA regulations and inspections. This provision, as amended, is now also contained in Section 101 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).
The Glenn Amendment (Section 670) was later adopted in 1977, and provided the same sanctions against countries that acquire or transfer nuclear reprocessing technology or explode or transfer a nuclear device. This provision, as amended, is now contained in Section 102 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).

How can anyone in the world have any respect for this US President with his hyprocritical attitude to Israel and Iran. Mind you, ever since Israel made its first nuclear bomb, all the Prersodents sionce that time have displayed a singular lack of guts in removing this expanding threat to middles east peace. So it has been an on-going affair reflecting badly on the US foreign policy and their subservience to the illegal state of Israel.
On one hand we have Iran who has signed the NPT and has no bombs and Israel who has 250-300 bombs and has NOT signed the NPT. And all the time, the US is subsidising Israel’s efforts to expand its warlike activities and to ignore countless numbers of UN resolutions with the veto of the US available at the flick of a finger.
Until these matters are given some priority by the US and they drag themselves out from under the insidious dealings of Israel in the US itself, the influence of the weak and corrupt Congress, Obama will be just another weak fellow-traveller and the US will continue to lose the world’s respect and the Empire will continue to crumble.

Obombya reminds me of one of those car jacking slime you see on ‘COPS’ where the car goes beyond 100 mph for several miles, ends up either rolling over and the punks inside ejected, and then he gets out and says, in front of the camera; “I wuzn’t doin nuthin…why are you stopping me??” to the arresting officers. It sounds pretty racist, I know, but it’s the same frigging deal, taking the nation down on the same fucked trajectory of the last puppet of zionism, and the pretending he’s not looting and destroying the country for them, smirking like the last feckless turd we put up with for EIGHT LONG YEARS of lawlessness.
