  1. Dunno, Billy. First you conclude that the voters rightly assess the game is rigged and there is no point in playing, and then you say the “next step, of course, is to build that alternative.” I don’t see how that follows. If our government is utterly corrupt, then another try at creating a non-corrupt alternative will be – like the previous attempts – a major waste of time and energy. Which may be the point; the equivalent of telling us to go boil water.

    That saying, “Those who make peaceful protest impossible make violent revolution inevitable” seems more pertinent than tasking voters with another third party that must become accepted by the mainstream despite overwhelming odds including a complicit media, win elections and THEN reform the corrupt congress. Why not cut out the middleman and confront THIS congress with its corruption? We know what is wrong, even if the Supreme Court doesn’t.
