Former Afghan President Karzai Says US Responsible for ISIS

During an interview with Al Jazeera television, former Afghan President Hamid Karzai linked the emergence of Islamic State group in the region to U.S. interventions.
“In my view, under the full (United States) presence, surveillance, military, political, intelligence, Daesh has emerged,” he said.
Karzai also noted that that the United States is colluding with Islamic State group in Afghanistan in order to allow the terrorist group to thrive in the war-torn country, according to PressTV.
“And for two years, the Afghan people came, cried loud about their suffering, of violations. Nothing was done,” Karzai said.
A year after securing control over large swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria in 2014, Islamic State group began to establish itself in the eastern province of Nangarhar in Afghanistan. From there the group has carried major attacks on the Central Asian country.
Karzai went on to assert that after the U.S. military dropped the GBU-43/B MOAB — the largest non-nuclear bomb detonated since World War II — in Nangarhar’s Achin District, Islamic State group fighters seized control of “the next district.” It was the first time the U.S. military dropped the 21,600 pound bomb, which contains an Australian made explosive called H6 and has an explosive equivalent to 11 tons of TNT, according to Inverse.
The incident “proves to us that there is a hand” aiding the emergence of Islamic State group and “that hand can be no one else but them (the United States) in Afghanistan,” Karzai concluded.
He condemned the U.S. government for using Afghanistan as a “testing ground for new and dangerous weapons” and welcomed a recent call by Fatou Bensouda, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, to open an inquiry into war crimes committed in Afghanistan.
“She’s right to open an investigation,” Karzai said, adding that he will cooperate with the investigation, even if it probes his own complicity in such crimes.

Latvia urging UK to ‘prepare for war’ with Russia

The Baltic countries continue their “preparation for war with Russia.” Now, as if it were not enough to engage in a suicidal militarization campaign, Latvia is also demanding that the main NATO countries, such as the UK, also begin adopting radical measures to prepare for the “inevitable” confrontation with Moscow. The main Latvian criticism of the British concerns the military service, with the Baltic country asking the UK to immediately resume conscription policies to increase the size of its forces.
Latvia’s foreign minister, Krisjanis Karins, stated that all NATO countries should follow the Latvian example when it comes to military preparation. According to him, it is necessary to implement special militarization measures and improve defense capacity in the face of the supposed “Russian threat”, which is why Western countries should unite in a common military policy. Karins believes that not all NATO states are efficiently engaged in this military preparation process. In this regard, he criticizes even the stance of key countries in the bloc, such as the UK.
Karins was asked by a journalist from The Telegraph about whether London should adopt mandatory military service for its citizens. He resolutely responded that Latvia “strongly recommends” such an attitude. According to Karins, Latvia is developing a system called “total defense”, in which all the country’s efforts are directed towards expanding military capacity. Did the “Islamic State” spring full-blown into spontaneous being as the fanatical scourge of the Middle East, or was it helped along by state sponsors?
There are uncanny parallels with Iran-Contra. In the 1980s, the Reagan team wanted to topple the government of Nicaragua, using mercenaries, or death squads, based in Honduras. But Congress passed a law against it. So they went around by financing the Contras via Iran.
Thirty years later, the hawks in Washington wanted to topple the elected governments of Libya and Syria, crush the popular resistance in Iraq, and split up those countries on ethnic lines. Once again, they wanted to do this using death squads. So they got around Congress by having Qatar and the Saudis finance it.
To set up the Sunni and Shiite death squads to fight each other in Iraq, they sent John Negroponte as ambassador to Baghdad in 2004. The same guy they sent to Honduras as ambassador from 1981 to 1985. Then in 2011 they sent some of those killers from Iraq to Libya to overthrow Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, with NATO air cover. From Libya, they were sent to Syria to start the killing there.
The U.S. embedded media perversely pinned these killings on Libyan leader Bashar al-Assad, following the script for another NATO invasion. Only Russia’s UN veto spared Syria. So the sheikhs kept financing the “rebels” – and the U.S. pretended to fight them – until they grew into the ISIS terror army. They and their backers have still not quit.

Good effort! And now the USA(and Israel) are about to set their mercenaries on Lebanon and Iran to continue their 7 countries in five years plan(although, the five years has ‘blown out’ somewhat) But, as Russia did in Syria, they will feel compelled to come to their allies aid, and use their Air Force to decimate the mercenaries(who are supposedly “Not run and controlled” by the USA. If it didn’t work in Syria, it’s highly unlikely to work in Lebanon(Hezbollah have a very good reputation for fighting and winning) and Iran
Israel might like to contemplate that if their devious plan(“7 in 5”) doesn’t work, Israel may become the “8th in 5”!
