Kashmiris mark 1947 murder of 200,000 Muslims by Hindu extremists

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LOC) are marking the 75th anniversary of the day when hundreds of thousands of Muslims were killed in the Jammu region.
More than 200,000 Muslims were systematically killed by Hindu extremists when they were migrating to Pakistan.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders on Sunday paid tributes to the memory of those killed.
Detained senior APHC leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah, in a message from New Delhi’s Tihar Jail, said the massacre of Muslims was the most horrible incident of Kashmir’s history that continues to haunt the regional people.
Other APHC leaders, in a joint statement, said the Kashmiris “will always remember the great sacrifice of the Jammu martyrs”.
“The Kashmiris have been rendering sacrifices for a great cause for the last several decades and the day is not far when they will achieve their cherished goal,” the statement said.
They also urged the international community to press India to stop its “brutalities” in Kashmir and settle the dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people and the relevant UN resolutions.
Between October and November in 1947, the majority of Muslims living in Jammu, Kathua, Reasi and Udhampur were uprooted from their homes during the days the genocide took place.
The crimes that were committed during that week included abduction and rape of Muslim women, mass slaughtering of Muslims including children and stealing of personal belongings.
In one of the many incidents that took place during that week, it was announced by the beat of the drum for all Muslims to assemble at the parade ground in Jammu.
They were later loaded on motor lorry convoys to be sent to Suchetgarh in India, but instead they were driven to Kathua road of the Jammu region and told to get off, after which they were killed by the Hindu forces that escorted them.

The spilling of native blook never bothered the British Empire. (Just like the USA these days). Do a search of the Bombing of Dresden (Germany) when the war in Europe was already won. The British and American Bombing of that city was a disgrace to humanity, and was a sheer Act of Bastardry……

Yes agreed – bombing women and children and civilians was total
evil – one of the pictures that affected me more than most was the
wee girl burned and running from bombs in vietnam and also
a Congolese father looking at his daughters feet cut off on the orders of bloodthirsty king of Belgium for the father not making his rubber quota. It looks like more to come sadly.

I vividly recall the War footage from the “American War” in Vietnam, where B52 Bombers dropped 500lb bombs all over Vietnam (and Laos and Cambodia), and according to the Vietnamese 6,000,000 people (mostly peasants) died in that dreadful war.
The Western Empires have MUCH to be ashamed of in History…….

But Christianity is most certainly true and is supposed to be a peaceful religion although in practice there was many times the professors of peace were often hypocrites who were in it for money and power and still are but you can know the genuine by their fruits.
The only alternative to God is blind chance evolution which has not a scintilla of evidence in 100’s of years so I will go for the offer of eternal life.

I always thought Darwin caused indirectly more death than the usual suspects like stalin mao hitler etc etc who complemented Darwin on his theory of survival of the fittest – the strongest – the most ruthless wins. Hitler believed darwin and wanted to breed his Arian super race.
The fittest theory is obviously true for most species but it doesn’t prove there is no God nor does it prove that to be fit changes the dna of one species into another but it can
hone the existing genomes of a species eg into the fastest antelope that escapes the lion but will not give the antelope wings nor evolve a cow into an air breathing warm blooded fish like a whale
According to the bible this system is not permanent and the return of God’s son Jesus will restore the earth where there will be no more ‘ red in tooth and claw ‘ ,
I was a darwinist by culture and education but once I studied the bible looking for errors and found none I converted to Christianity.
