Israel’s hospital bombing claims not credible – analysts

Independent analysis of video and audio footage has revealed major inconsistencies with Israel’s claim that Palestinian militants were responsible for the deadly bombing of the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza this week.

The Christian-run hospital, also known as the Baptist Hospital, was destroyed in an explosion on Tuesday. Around 500 people were killed in the blast, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Th Israeli authorities have released two pieces of evidence that they say prove the building was hit by a Palestinian rocket: A video showing a salvo of Palestinian rockets flying from east to west, with one apparently breaking apart with a flash and falling on the hospital; and an intercepted telephone call in which Hamas militants purportedly discuss how rockets fired by the Islamic Jihad group had fallen short and landed in Gaza.

“The entire world should know: It was barbaric terrorists in Gaza that attacked the hospital in Gaza, and not the [Israel Defense Forces],” Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on social media on Tuesday night.

However, analysts at Al Jazeera and Channel 4 studied the video and concluded that the flash could not be linked with the subsequent explosion at the hospital. Al Jazeera noted that the flash “was in fact consistent with Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system intercepting a missile fired from the Gaza Strip and destroying it in midair.”

In a second video shot near the blast site, an incoming rocket or missile can be heard screeching through the air before impacting the hospital. Earshot, an NGO specializing in audio analysis of footage from conflict zones and human rights cases, studied this video and found that the frequency of the incoming projectile indicates that it “approached the hospital from north-east, east or south-east,” while Israel claimed it approached from the west.

Forensic Architecture, a research agency based at the University of London, backed up Earshot’s findings, stating that the projectile likely came from the direction of Israel. Further analysis of the crater left at the hospital pointed to an approach from the north-east, the agency said.

Earshot also studied the telephone recording and found that unlike most calls, in which both parties’ voices are transmitted on the same audio channel, the recording consists of two separately-recorded voices stitched together. While Earshot said it “cannot categorically state that the audible dialogue is fake… the level of manipulation required to edit these two voices together disqualifies it as a source of credible evidence.”

In the immediate aftermath of the blast, Israeli government adviser Hananya Naftali wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the “Israeli Air Force struck a Hamas terrorist base inside a hospital in Gaza,” before deleting the tweet minutes later.

Nevertheless, US President Joe Biden has sided with the Israeli telling of events, while Israel remains the culprit throughout the Arab world. “Everybody here believes that Israel is responsible for it,” Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi told CNN on Wednesday. “The Israeli army is saying it’s not but… try and find anybody who’s going to believe it in this part of the world.”

  1. Forensic tests on pieces of the missile would tell who is lying. The Katyusha rockets in Hamas’s possession are not powerful enough to do the damage that was done to the hospital. The US navy which is monitoring the airspace over Israel and Gaza from an aircraft carrier in the Med, should be able to tell us where the missile came from. Biden’s premature rush to condemn Hamas for the attack signals that it was Israel for obvious reasons. The Israelis have to keep up all pretenses of moral authority in its quest to exterminate Palestinians.
    The solution to the preventing the war from spreading was presented by Egypt, which suggested an immediate cessation of hostilities and an immediate peace conference involving all nations in the region. China and Russia have also made similar proposals which have been rejected by the US and Israel. In the past, when war brok out between Israel and Arabs, the US called for de-escalating the crisis. This time they have not. The State Dept banned officials from publicly using terms “De-escalation,” and “Ceasefire” the Huffington Post reported. The HuffPost article went on to say that the State Department instructed officials not to use certain terms when speaking in public about the war, including “de-escalation,” “ceasefire,” “end to violence” and “restoring calm”. US actions implicitly tells us that the US supports escalating hostilities between Israelis and Hamas while sending two aircraft carriers with accompanying destroyer group to the Mediterranean Sea, explicitly tells us the US is up to no good. So what’s going on? The scope of the situation has to be viewed at a higher level in order to understand the causality of what’s going on.

    The Hamas attack on Israel is suspiciously timed to intervene in the developments involving nations in the region that have agreed to join the BRICS+ nations. Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Ethiopia, have joined the BRICS and are scheduled to enter the BRICS in January. This development has sent shockwaves through the global banking community which acts as a global financial casino today.

    The BRICS led by China and Russia are the backers of the Belt and Road global development initiative. They are also the promoters of a new financial credit arrangement outside the boundaries of the Dollar based system such as the New Development Bank headed by former Brazilian President Dilma Rouseff. Nations in the Global South are all in and ready to stop using the Dollar as an international reserve currency. A “Basket of Commodities” is being considered as the currency peg.

    The financial wizards in London and NY were panicked when they realized these developments were taking place. So they sent US Treasury Sec. Janet Yellin, Fed Chair Jerome Powell, State Dept’s Tony Blinken to Africa to counter the efforts of the BRICS,
    They were rebuffed by African leaders who told them their countries were done with colonialism. This must have unnerved bankers Yellin and Powell and especially the fascist Ivy League dilatant Blinken. For they went back home humiliated, realizing diplomacy wouldn’t work any longer to keep them in line. So these globalists scum opted instead to start another war. This time using the simmering conflict between Israel and Hamas as the “cockpit.” A war that had the potential to draw those nations in the region that were cozy with China and the BRICS into a regional war. A war that could quickly develop into a world war with thermonuclear implications.

    The Globalist were well aware that US financial support for Ukraine had drastically faded after Ukraine’s counteroffensive failed after it received hundreds of billions of dollars from NATO countries. So the locusts in pinstripes shifted gears to Southwest Asia The timing couldn’t be more suspicious given the circumstances. On the one side are the multi-polar nations of the BRICS led by China and Russia. All of which have let be known that they are united around a new international development architecture.
    On the other side exist a dying monetary system run by a unipolar rules based order of quasi-totalitarian governments that prefer usury and looting to keep nations from realizing economic freedom. Led by the City of London, Wall Street, and the Military-Industrial complex, and their underlings in government, the Bidens and Von der Leyens, are told when and where to deploy military muscle to enforce compliance of nations to obey the rules based order. This is the clash that could result in global thermonuclear war if not stopped now.
