‘Israel’ knows nothing about Hamas’ tunnels: Released captive

Al Mayadeen | September 8, 2024

Released Israeli captive Adina Moshe, 72, who was held by Palestinian Resistance factions in Gaza, revealed that the Israeli military has no real knowledge of the Resistance’s tunnel infrastructure.

During an interview for Israeli broadcaster Channel 12, Moshe said that the Israeli Shin Bet security service asked her to draw a map of the tunnels after she was released in a prisoner exchange deal.

“The Shin Bet asked me to draw a map of the tunnels in Gaza because they know nothing about them,” Moshe told an interviewer.

The security agency had dispatched an engineer to speak to Moshe at an earlier time, where she told him that the tunnels in the Gaza Strip are a “vast underground maze stretching across the entire area.” She also told the engineer that military operations alone will not help retrieve the remaining captives.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is lying, and neither he nor the military know anything about Hamas’ tunnels in Gaza,” the released captive added.

According to Channel 12, when Moshe was asked to draw up a sketch of the tunnels, she responded by saying that she was not an artist.

She was also asked to describe the tunnels, their pathways, their locations, and the communication devices and wiring installed in them.

Hamas’ tunnel city, ‘Israel’s’ collapse

In an article titled “It is not Hamas that is collapsing, but Israel,” published in Haaretz, retired Brigadier General Yitzhak Brik offered a critical assessment of the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip. He underscored the significant and escalating losses “Israel” is facing, arguing that the war is exerting a far heavier toll on “Israel” itself than on Hamas.

He pointed out the need to concentrate occupation forces in other sectors, namely in the north and the West Bank due to the ongoing escalations. This would necessitate occupation forces to withdraw from Gaza  because there are “not enough forces to fight on several fronts at the same time.”

“In other words, the day will come when the IDF will no longer be able to remain in the Gaza Strip because Hamas will be in full control of it – both in the underground tunnel city that stretches hundreds of kilometers and above ground,” Brik explained.

Throughout the period of the war on Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s goal of uprooting the Palestinian Resistance from the Gaza Strip has proven elusive. A substantial factor as to why the Resistance has been able to command and control operations, even in the areas most hard-hit by the Israeli aggression, has been the exceptional use of underground tunnels by Palestinian Resistance fighters and commanders.

Despite the launching of hundreds of bunker-buster bombs, flooding tunnel networks with seawater, and other methods, the Israeli regime has found little to no success in deactivating the strategic infrastructure.

  1. This ‘Adina Moshe’ has been featured regularly in the Jewish Zionist press since the planned genocide allegedly ‘began’ on October 7 of 2023.**

Here she is quoted in a piece crafted by the AP Jerusalem bureau back in January of this year:

“A 72-year-old Israeli woman held captive by Hamas militants for nearly 50 days told an Israeli TV channel Wednesday that she was held at length in a dark, humid tunnel where she met a Hamas leader and helped pass the time with an informal lecture series by her knowledgeable fellow hostages.

Moshe said militants raided the home she shared with her husband, David, who was shot in the leg. They snatched her out from the window of her house’s safe room and another militant went back in to shoot her husband dead, she said. Before being killed, he blew her a farewell kiss, she said.

She was then taken into Gaza on a motorcycle flanked by two armed militants. She said one of them painfully ripped an earring from her ear and that before he could swipe the other one she offered it up. He took all her jewelry and a passerby stole her glasses, she said.

Moshe and a group of other hostages were marched into Hamas’ extensive tunnel network, walking for five hours down five underground flights through dark and airless shafts until they reached a subterranean room where they were told they’d be released in the coming days.

“We believed them. We believed that would be the first thing Israel would do,” she said.

It ended up taking nearly 50 until she was freed.

“I told all the guys, ‘We’ll be here for at least two months and not because of Hamas,’” she said, indicating she harbored anger toward Israel for not securing her release earlier.

Moshe spent her days with other hostages — men, women and children — as armed guards stood by. They ate small portions of canned goods and rice that dwindled with time, she said. The room was lit only by a small LED light.

To pass the time, she said three male hostages, including a Jewish history buff, a film connoisseur and an Arabic speaker, offered to give lectures to the other captives. When the lectures about the Holocaust became too hard to hear, they moved on to the persecution of Spanish Jews in the Middle Ages, another topic too difficult to process under the conditions. The three men are still in captivity.”

Back in November TIME magazine had her captivity pegged at 49 days during which she allegedly “was confined underground, unaware of the time and only seeing light for two hours a day.”

All of these Jewish identity-producing horror stories are of course quite familiar to non-Jews by now. ‘The Jews’ have been universally hated and abused since time immemorial for absolutely no other reason than the simple fact that they are Jews. And they ‘survive’ each atrocious, beyond-the-pale historical episode that no other group has ever or will ever be subjected to to the degree or duration that “Jews” historically have – they survive all this by sitting around and reminiscing about the previous episodes.

Meanwhile, if anyone were to look at ownership or ‘wealth’ statistics for this one group of people in relation to their percentage of the overall population, it is obscene. The literal thing of conspiracy.

Here’s Adina once again, this time from The Times of Israel back in February of this year, where she implores bad boy ‘Bibi’ to negotiate or there won’t be any poor Jews left to negotite for. This all sounds boringly familiar. But this silly yet utterly monstrous good Jew-bad Jew charade combined with the unprecedented level of power their lobbies, interest groups, and individual and corporate donors wield the world over is what allows them to continue to perpetrate this genocide with no end in sight.

    https://archive.ph/FkyOR

The Jewish State of Israel is happily carrying out a genocide in the name of Jews the world over, with the full unyielding support of close to 95 percent of the Jewish population of ‘Israel.’

All of this propaganda simply gets Jewish donors and their lackeys worldwide to give even more money to ‘the cause’ of obliterating both Palestine and all non-resisting nation-states – continuing project ‘Eretz Yisrael.’

**Here is some background I compiled after doing my own ‘deep dive’ into this planned ‘war’ which is in fact a wholesale slaughter and genocide being carried out against a largely defenseless population by the world’s 4th most powerful nuclear-armed military with advanced intelligence units boastfully employing backdoors into the most powerful corridors of power the world over:

“In 2005, the Nobel Prize in Economic Science was awarded to Israeli mathematician and game theory specialist Robert J. Aumann, co-founder of the Center for Rationality at Hebrew University. This Jerusalem resident explains: ‘the entire school of thought that we have developed here in ‘Israel’ has turned ‘Israel’ into the leading authority in this field.’

Israeli strategists rely on game theory models to ensure the intended response to staged provocations and manipulated crises. With the use of game theory algorithms, those responses become predictable, even foreseeable—within an acceptable range of probabilities. The waging of war ‘by way of deception’ is now a mathematical discipline.”

  2. The story is hard to believe. There are inconsistencies from interviews at different times.

    • It’s not really about inconsistencies in this or any one story per se, and I didn’t intend to convey that impression. The specifics aren’t important – it’s the repeating overarching historical narrative. The specifics are there to pull at heart strings. Anyone who has been party to ‘war’ – and again, Oct 7 was a major Israeli inducement/offensive, another advance in their ongoing historical ‘Eretz Yisrael’ project for themselves and the world – anyone who has been subject to war, famine, capture, etc will have all sort of horrible stories to tell. This isn’t unique to the motherf’in’ Jews.

This captured Israeli Adina Moshe is alive and obviously in good physical condition. Needless to say, that’s a lot better than the hundreds of thousands of dead Palestinian women and children.

Will she and her fellow Israelis offer their homes to the innocent Palestinians who are being slaughtered by her government, in her name and in the name of Jews the world over? You know, the way countless Germans did for Jews during WWII?

I was forced to read Anne Frank’s stupid masturbatory hiding-in-the-closet nonsense book back in middle school. Suppose a Palestinian writes a book about her suffering at the hands of the depraved Jewish Zionists occupying Palestine. First, it won’t get published by the vast majority of publishing houses because they’re all Zionist. It could still get published, but it would be subjected to all manner of accusations of ‘anti-semitism’ and ‘racism’ and it wouldn’t be allowed to be read in class lest Skippy Rosenbaum might feel a bit uncomfortabale – and a call to Jonny Greenblatt et al by the school’s antisemistism monitor will quickly have that poor student expelled and possibly facing jail time. Character assassination and no future prospects within the matrix for you, poor gentile. The book would certainly never become a core part of the curriculum for chrissake.

Do you see? That is power, and that is why all conversations around almost everything in the world have become beyond stupid at this point because this one issue is so beyond the pale and so surreal it literally destroys minds instantaneously. Not to mention hearts.

A ‘country’ and ‘its people’ wantonly commit genocide and we can’t talk about it without walking on eggshells around everything Jewish.

Most of ‘the resistance’ being led by Jews is weak tea because even the most secular Jew doesn’t ever evoke any true emotion over this. Madea Benjamin is all smiles as she protests, and it’s impossible to take the now-allegedly-serious-about-this-issue Max Blumenthal seriously because he never entertained it seriously in the past when we were all calling out the insanity.

They’re all over the ‘real’ and ‘hard’ left arenas and they always default to stupid generic terms like ‘imperialism’ or ‘the west’ or some such thing in order to avoid seriously looking at the immense power this point-two percent (0.2%) of people wield the world over.

On the right, they lead many alleged ‘white supremacist’ groups not only to control them (best way to control opposition) but they often create them in the first place with the intent of fomenting ‘anti-semitism’ which is essential to the identity and the project.

    • The links I provided in the first comment illustrate how the game is played at the highest levels. I initially posted this over at Ian Welsh’ site under the handle ‘game theory’ and I subsequently was able to post it at the somewhat widely-read NakedCapitalism, though I believe Susan Webber has since deleted it.

Remember, Yigal Carmon is an Israeli government counter-terrorism expert who was previously a counter-terrorism adviser to prime ministers Yitzhak Shamir and Yitzhak Rabin. Carmon worked in the Israeli Military Intelligence Service at Aman from 1968-1988:

“It should be remembered that MEMRI is a propaganda outlet run by an expert with decades of experience in Israeli intelligence. It prepares and presents “estimates” to its own government officials while simultaneously preparing and disseminating propaganda to the targeted masses.

More accurately, MEMRI prepares memos or drafts or even entire articles that are then placed with specific media outlets and pundits, who will then go on to disseminate it to a general audience or specific targeted audiences.

The Brian Whitaker Guardian piece and the Juan Cole investigations make clear that MEMRI primarily creates and attempts to instill enemy images of Arabs and Muslims in the public psyche, while instilling positive images of Israel – in order to further Israel’s political goals.

Here, we are dealing with MEMRI’s internal messaging – what it presented to its own government officials in order to prepare them for what may come.

The Jerusalem Post article begins with a statement declaring that “Hamas carried out the terrorist attack, but Iran is the one behind this shocking murder of dozens of innocent Israeli women, children and men.”

      The MEMRI piece that Yigal Carmon wrote and that the Jerusalem Post article references begins by saying;

“Lately there have been growing indications that a war against Israel may break out in September or October 2023. The trigger may be spiraling violent clashes resulting in many casualties, or the use of new weapons leading to many fatalities on the Israeli side, in the face of which Israel will be unable to suffice with its regular counterterrorism measures.”

The footnote to this statement states that:

“On the face of it, a large number of Israeli fatalities will be nothing new, but we assess that, in the present circumstances, Israel will undertake an unprecedented, comprehensive response, even at the cost of a comprehensive war with Iran, which is activating the Islamist resistance organizations on the ground.”

The opening paragraph of the MEMRI piece concludes with the statement:

“While neither Hamas nor Hizbullah are eager to start a comprehensive confrontation with Israel, such a confrontation could result from an uncontrolled deterioration on the ground or from the use of new and unusually deadly weapons by these movements.”

It then goes on to quote statements from various Arab and Muslim leaders that may or may not be quoted correctly. That is not really the point here, however.

We can easily glean – just from the opening paragraphs of these Israeli intelligence agency statements that were prepared for their government officials – that Israeli intelligence foresaw a Hamas invasion that would use weapons and tactics that hadn’t been used before, and that Israel would have to call up significantly more reserves than in the past in order to counter this – “an unprecedented, comprehensive response.”

All of this was predicted to happen in October.

How is this a massive intelligence failure on the part of Israel?

The interesting part to me is the statement that “Israel will undertake an unprecedented, comprehensive response, even at the cost of a comprehensive war with Iran, which is activating the Islamist resistance organizations on the ground.”

“…even at the cost of a comprehensive war with Iran” indicates that such a war is always on the front burner for Israel, and given the Oded Yinon – Securing the Realm/PNAC literature this isn’t surprising.”

It’s extremely important to notice what’s going on here. Carmon, who worked at Anan for twenty years, was ‘counter-terrorism’ adviser(Dept of Defense, anyone? It’s the Dept of War, and Carmon is in actuality the terrorism adviser) to two former prime ministers and current head of leading Jewish Zionist propaganda outlet MEMRI which he founded with David Wurmser’s wife, Meyrav – this man Yigal Carmon is telling important players in the Israeli political class (preparing their minds, and they of course know the routine) IN AUGUST that something big is going to happen in October and that their response must be much bigger than usual. He goes so far as to admit outright that neither Hamas nor Hezbollah themselves desire a war!

Carmon says “an uncontrolled deterioration on the ground or from the use of new and unusually deadly weapons by these movements” is what to expect.

An ‘uncontrolled deterioration on the ground’ is obviously intentionally and woefully vague, but more importantly this is always a possibility anytime any hostilities anywhere between amy parties are taking place. Thus, it’s completely meaningless other than as emotive propaganda.

Next we have “or from the use of new and unusually deadly weapons” but Yigal you just said yourself that these groups don’t want war. So why would they use ‘new and UNUSUALLY deadly weapons? And why are they ‘unusually deadly?’ Do they make people unusually dead, as opposed to, oh I don’t know, say the white phosphorous and the miniature nuclear devices you use?

So you see, this was all provoked by Israel. They weren’t surprised at all. They game-planned it and their own internal propaganda outlets outlined the plans and prepared the minds of their own quite willing political class, while their media outlets went to work the world over writing the narrative in their interest and attempting to manufacture consent for their planned genocide and continued ethnic cleansing, apartheid and wholesale population removal and replacement with Jews.

“[Israel] is a settler colonial movement. Therefore, in order to transform Palestine into Israel, an Arab country to a Jewish country, you have to displace the population and you have to take its land. This isn’t only happening in Gaza. This is certainly happening in the West Bank as well. By destroying Gaza… it makes it impossible for the Gazans to come back. Now, Israel would like Egypt to take them and put them in the Sanai [desert], [but] Egypt says no. Instead, the United States and other Western countries will take the Gazans into their country. The United States will say ‘Alright, we’ll take 50,000,’ Canada will say – Canada already said this – ‘we’ll take 30,40,50,000.’ Each European country will take a few thousand or tens of thousands, Australia, New Zealand and so on. Israel could get rid of a million or more Palestinians, with the help – the complicity – of European and North American countries, under the guise of humanitarian aid for refugees… That’s what Israel is calling ‘voluntary transfer.'”

Israel’s ultimate plan is to greatly lower the number of Palestinians in the region and then create an apartheid for the remainder.

“Israel will lock them into small little islands…we’ll call those Bantustans a state, and now we have a two-state solution. Israel is on 85% of the country, it controls everything, t’s a Jewish country, but there’s a Palestinian state on a few little islands that will be recognized by the international community and now we’re done with the Palestinians and we can move on.

In other words, Israel thinks it can get away with apartheid in a way South Africa couldn’t, and there’s good reason to believe that might be true.”
