  1. From the end of the Second World War, Britain produced many non-politically correct radio and television comedy shows – shows that would never be allowed to air today. They ended somewhere around 1990. I suspect that many politicians and police officers never grew up with, or were exposed to, these comedies, and as a result, have grown up with dour humourless characters, easily manipulated by the power hungry.

    Prime Minister Starmer has become a parody of his namesake, Prime Minister Sutler in the film ‘V for Vendetta’, and that did not end well for Sutler.
