India rebuffs US calls to shun Iran gas talks

Press TV – April 3, 2010

India has rejected a call from the US to shun participation in gas talks with Iran, saying “energy security” is a priority for New Delhi.

Iran and Pakistan signed a deal in March to construct a multi-billion dollar natural gas pipeline connecting the two neighboring countries — a project that was strongly opposed by the US. The deal is part of the long-delayed 7.5-billion-dollar Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) gas pipeline project.

“We have no comments to make on what the US official has said. But energy security is of prime concern to the government, and the India-Pakistan-Iran pipeline has to be seen in this context,” The Hindustan Times quoted an official with India’s foreign ministry as saying.

“We are in discussions for thrashing out the two issues. One is pricing of the gas, the other is the security of the pipeline that passes through Pakistan,” the official added.

Earlier, India expressed its willingness to resume talks with Iran on the project and also to discuss with Iran an alternative sea-bed pipeline from that would bypass Pakistan.

”We had initiated the trilateral talks in 2007 among the three governments and such discussions are ongoing,” Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli Deora told reporters at the Consulate General of India in New York.

China is also showing keen interest in investing USD 2.5 billion in the gas pipeline project in order to meet the country’s energy demands.

Islamabad has started negotiations with Beijing over the purchase of technical equipment to be used for extending the gas pipeline to China, informed sources in Pakistan’s oil ministry said, Mehr News Agency reported on Monday.

China’s interest in the extension of the pipeline came after Islamabad’s reluctance to cooperate with New Delhi on the IPI project allegedly due to India’s delay in developing the Peace Pipeline project.

  1. Good for India. I wonder if she feels sufficiently burned by our GM crops and fertilizers and pesticides to start questioning the advice that profits our other corporate entities, er, I mean government programs.

    some more!

  3. Completely agree with Mike S. Good comments.

I cheer India! Good job. I hope you stand your ground relentlessly. It is FAR PAST time that the world stops obeying Israel/USA…& to maybe a lesser degree the UK. They have done the world a great harm and obeying them only makes us further slaves to their evil will.

Was Monsanto a good idea? (look at the suicides of farmers and the GMO crop failures and the cost going up and up)

Was filthy Diesel a good idea? (Look at your skies, India)

Was national ID a good idea? (well, its not accomplished yet, but I guarantee you it is NOT a good idea)

We need to go back to the right way of thinking, away with Jewish-inspired Communism, away with consumerism/materialism.

Protection of the ENVIRONMENT BEGINS with saving the trees and wild areas…not a “war on global warming” or “War on climate change” etc; this is a Rothschilds (JEWISH) plan to further tax, starve, manipulate and control us all.

Likewise, a war against IRAN is ONLY SERVING A FEW. Specifically, the usurpers calling themselves “Jews”.
These Khazar Ashkenazis are a racial and religious supremacist criminal cult that need to be expunged from the places of power, control and influence that they presently dominate.

I just recently learned that there were Jewish-Indians (Bahgdadi Jews) a plenty in the early Bollywood…and to me, that was really no surprise.

If Iran launches a bomb on anyone EXCEPT Israel, the world will rise up. If they bomb Israel, we’ll mourn the Palestinians lost in the devastation.

  4. I honestly can’t let The US and israel’s misinformation and misguided arguments about neopaganism go by without comment. But first, I’m going to jump ahead a bit and talk in general terms about how The US and israel hates us with a hatred so steady and deadly that it consumes in it all sense of time and place. Then, I’ll back up and fill in some of the details. Okay, so to start with the general stuff, The US and israel must sense its own irremediable inferiority. That’s why it is so desperate to destroy our culture, our institutions, and our way of life; it’s the only way for it to distinguish themselves from the herd. It would be a lot nicer, however, if The US and israel also realized that my general thesis is that its belligerent, batty game of chess—the abysmal chess of wowserism—has continued for far too long. It’s time to checkmate this lubricious, oppressive pinhead and show it that if you think you can escape from its vulgar, bleeding-heart précis, then good-bye and good luck. To the rest of you I suggest that I recommend paying close attention to the praxeological method developed by the economist Ludwig von Mises and using it as a technique to find the common ground that enables others to carry out the famous French admonition, écrasez l’infâme!, against The US and israel’s roorbacks. The praxeological method is useful in this context because it employs praxeology, the general science of human action, to explain why I overheard one of The US and israel’s apologists, who are legion, say, “Mediocrity is a worthwhile goal.” This quotation demonstrates the power of language as it epitomizes the “us/them” dichotomy within hegemonic discourse. As for me, I prefer to use language to delegitimize The US and israel. I’ll talk a lot more about that later, but first let me finish my general thesis: The US and israel’s conjectures are more than just recalcitrant. They’re a revolt against nature. Summa summarum, The US and israel has mastered the art of bamboozling unwary listeners by introducing names of persons and events of which they have only a hazy recollection and then making statements, seemingly documented, with such authoritative confidence that they never think of trying to clarify their own recollections or consulting a reference work.

  5. Agree with most of the above. Go for it India. Stop taking your marching orders from the real axis of evil, the USA and Israel.

You don’t need those creeps slithering around your country, the Mubai massacre was a MOSSAD job.

  6. I am English and am in full agreement with Truthteller | April 5, 2010.

My country was infiltrated by East & Central European so-called ‘Jews’ [actually the remnants of the Mongol invasions: look up the “Golden Horde”) during the period 1900 to 1920, until their corrupt immigration was curtailed by law. If Indians believe they have suffered, they should try to appreciate how the indigenous English have been made to suffer (in different ways) too.

As everyone should know by now, the English ‘elite’ were amongst the first to invite Sephardic Jews to cross the channel, from the Netherlands, during the time of Cromwell. This despite the fact they had been thrown out of the country, on the orders of King Edward I (Longshanks), and told never to return.

The Bank of England, which the Rothschild criminal family took over by stealth following the Battle of Waterloo (Wellington defeats Napoleon), along with the City of London, has been an indirect instrument of both national and international oppression, and also moral depravity, for well over 100 years already. It wasn’t the British who “raped India” it was the money powers of the City of London (Freemasons and Cabala Jews) who did that. Unfortunately (and thanks to the writings of Communist ‘Historians’) we ordinary English keep getting blamed instead.

Commenters should try to avoid stigmatizing America and ordinary Americans. Remember, America is a continent, not a country. The most problematic people operate out of New York City, ‘Jew’ Jersey, Chicago, and Los Angeles (Hollywood). These cities are where the most poisonous vipers in America reside. And as for Israel, it was set up from the very beginning (by the Rothschild clan) to be a base for International Crime. It was the Rothschilds who financed the state from the beginning. The most criminally insane were amongst its first settlers. East & Central European ‘Jews’ invented the Atomic Bomb (with the help of Goyim brains fooled into thinking it would end wars) because they hoped it would help them rule the world. That hope is getting a little too close to fruition.

The Mumbai massacre was a MOSSAD job, so was the Georgian invasion of South Ossetia (2008), so were the London Bombings (2005), so was 9-11, so was USS Cole (Aden in 2000), etc., etc.
