Portland AIPAC Protest – IMEMC
A group of protesters in Portland, Oregon, USA, erected mock settlements, a ‘Wall of Shame’, and a checkpoint as part of a protest against the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)’s annual Oregon fundraiser on Sunday.
AIPAC is the largest and most powerful Zionist lobby in the US, with branches in all 50 US states and financial contributions to every US congressmember and senator. Recently, however, their meetings and fundraisers have been met by increasing protests, like the one held Sunday in Portland.
One protester represented the recent murder of a non-violent demonstrator in Iraq Bur’in village by staging a ‘die-in’ at the entrance of the event. He was not arrested, but was moved out of the way to allow the financial contributors to AIPAC to enter.
The mock settlements were constructed out of cardboard, and accompanied by a demonstrator dressed as Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, wearing a helmet labeled ‘Caterpillar’ after the US-based construction company whose military bulldozers are used to destroy Palestinian homes.
In addition, some demonstrators dressed as Israeli soldiers demanded ID from those entering the event. Although the attendees did not oblige the protesters by showing ID, they were again stopped, just a few meters away, by an actual checkpoint set up by the event organizers to ensure that only paid ticket-holders were able to enter the controversial event.
The protesters also held up a representation of the Israeli Annexation Wall, painted with the words, “Wall of Shame”. These are words that a group of Jewish activists painted on the actual Wall in Qalqilia soon after the Wall was constructed there in 2002. The Wall is constructed on Palestinian land in the West Bank, and has made it impossible for any semblance of a normal life to continue in the West Bank.
The attendees of the AIPAC dinner included a number of local politicians including US Senator Ron Wyden and Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski, as well as Oregon rabbis and leaders of Jewish organizations who pledged during the dinner to stand by Israel. The human rights violations and abuses brought out by the protesters were not addressed by the speakers at the fundraising dinner.

It’s an odd fact that both of Oregon’s senators are Jewish, and despite being considered liberal, are always available to vote right when it comes to certain interests. For example, I recently saw the new Senator Merkley mentioned as amending financial reform to remove any possible auditing of the Fed. How liberal of him. Wyden, widely considered a “good guy,” is on the intell committee and has a donor history of financial interests, among others, that would hardly be considered liberal.
J Street is supposed to be the newer, gentler AIPAC. What would people say if there was a “G” Street? Or what would people think if gentile bankers got together for their first annual international conference? How about a Chinese-American Public Affairs Committee bribing congress to a war for Taiwan? All these things are unthinkable, and the Jewish privilege to operate this way should be, too. Superiority is not equality.

It is comforting to see dedicated citizens doing the right thing.

Tell’in it like it is…….sadly for the citizens here. And yes, it is time we all declared that the experiment called a representative Republic, has been one big failure and time to be abolished and replaced by a government for the people.

Yep, both of OreEgun’s senators are in fact A.I.P.A.C. acolytes and desciples. They’re amongst the 76 piles of shit who signed this letter of UNWAVERING ISRAELI SUPPORT, too.
one would think that the American sheeple have awakened to the degree that they just have goddamned had it with these fuckers, finally, and won’t stand for any more of this Israeli horse shit running this country further into the financial insolvency and bankruptcy toilet that they’re driving it into, but apparently not.
If you post anything that remotely suggests that the U.S. Government has achieved an unprecedented level of corruption, and suggest that it needs to be ‘abolished’ as Thomas Jefferson said it should be when it got to be this ‘irrevocably corrupted’ and ‘wholly out of control’ and ‘unaccountable to We The People’, you get attacked by even so called liberal blog owners and site masters as an ‘agent provocateur’ or ‘cointelpro’ for stating the obvious and oh so very necessary fact of life.
We really truly do need to abolish this government. It’s unanswerable to We The People, it is in fact, a massive, and quite murderous criminal enterprise that kills peoples on foreign soil as easily as the rest of us slaves would swat a mosquito on our arm, biting us. It demands we hand over our children to is’t illegitimate war waging armies and military, and it incessantly jacks up the taxation on everything we buy or think we own, to the point where we pay taxes on things so many times, over and over again, that it’s far from remotely fair. And it demands we look the other way when it murders our fellow countrymen and women in false flag operations like it conducted at OKC, and WACO, and Ruby Ridge, and in New York on Sept. 11, 2001.
So just how much israeli influence can the nation tolerate in it’s government. That answer is apparent in the totally disconnected electorate, save for a few protesters in Oregon who wanted it known that A.I.P.A.C. isn’t welcome, we have a DHS head in this country that brands anyone who questions the government’s primacy over all of us, as a ‘home grown terror threat or terrorist’ then.
We truly need to look into the mirror and realize that if we had NO government, it would be far better than the out of control leviathan monster we feed with our children’s blood and our tax dollars and our years of saving only to watch that money disappear down the greedy throats of Goldman Sachs and Co.
When is enough going to truly be just that? Enough?

Great comment Flek, when is enough going to be enough? I think if we were to examine the problems with our corrupt elections systems, we would discover that a little country in the Mideast is responsible making change improbable.

the “jewsish” lobby (converted Russians zionists actually) are so well connected, sneaky, conniving, lying, backstabbing, powerful, and dangerous to this country…. makes ya think they’re lead by some sort of devil, dont it?
Peace to US, in spite of them and those who support the kind of treachery the “jewish” lobby dishes out.
