  1. This will drive the Senegalese population into bankruptcy and eventually lead to resentment towards the newcomers the Chinese whom are shrude when it comes to business. Africans love to talk, laugh and make deals with their customers, but I am not so sure about the Chinese?

  2. One thing I noticed was the insularity of the chinese immigrants, it seems that the interactions were with the locals as customers or employees only.

If they can take part in the community and become friends with the Senegalese, it might make the attitudes between the groups a little better.

For better or for worse, the chinese are in Africa for the long haul and their stay will be a lot easier if they make friends with the people in the countries that they are now immigrants in.
