A better, more accurate word than “settler” is needed. That word suggests a number of semi-positive connotations, among them is one who settles disputes; someone who settles into a place without problem; making of problems or objection, such as used for those who settled land in the Westward movement of European settlers onto land to homestead.
The word by-passes that the ‘settlers’ are 100% jewish, that the land was taken by military conquest, maintained by military might and that the jewish ‘settlers’ arm themselves and conduct what are criminal acts upon neighboring non-jewish people, all as a nation/state enterprise.
A more accurate word or phrase than “settler” should be used with reports such as this. The word ‘settler’ is coined by the Zionists, a misnomer, a deceptive, subtle twisting of language to suit the Zionist narrative. Some of the founders of Israel, later to become government officials of the highest rank were and will be known as war criminals, regardless if they achieved a presidency or prime minister leadership. It’s like calling Jeffrey Epstein or Harvey Weinstein “disgraced”. They were pedophiles, rapists, criminals: convicted felons. Did they, too, consider themselves “divinely directed” as the so-called ‘settlers’ of Israel?
