Bernie Sanders makes no comments about Russia’s alleged support for him in 2016
Press TV – February 17, 2018
US independent Senator Bernie Sanders has remained silent towards allegations by special counsel Robert Mueller about Moscow’s support for him ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
The Vermont lawmaker released a statement to announce stance in the wake of Mueller’s Friday revelations coming from months of investigation into ties between Russia and US President Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign.
According to Mueller’s indictment, the Russians “primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about [then-Democratic candidate] Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump.”
Mueller also indicted 13 Russian individuals and three Russian entities over Moscow’s interference, whose operations allegedly started as early as 2014.
Shortly after Mueller’s indictment, Sanders called for the continuation of the investigation without mentioning allegations that Russia supported him to undermine Hillary’s campaign.
“It has been clear to everyone (except Donald Trump) that Russia was deeply involved in the 2016 elections and intends to be involved in the 2018 elections. It is the American people who should be deciding the political future of our country, not Mr. Putin and the Russian oligarchs,” Sanders said. “It is absolutely imperative that the Mueller investigation be allowed to go forward without obstruction from the Trump administration or Congress.”
Clinton herself has not commented on the indictment yet but Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez called the new revelations “chilling” in a statement.
“This indictment gives us a chilling look at just how sophisticated, well-funded and wide-ranging this attack on democracy really was. It should send chills up the spine of every American,” he said.
The investigation seeks to find out whether the Russian government coordinated with Trump’s aides after the intelligence community’s conclusion that the Kremlin helped with the New York billionaire’s campaign effort ahead of winning the White House, an allegation dismissed both by Moscow and the president.
According to the new indictment, Russian “specialists were instructed to post content that focused on ‘politics in the USA’ and to ‘use any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest (except Sanders and Trump—we support them.).’”

Statins Increase Diabetes Risk by 38%
By Dr. Joseph Mercola | June 29, 2022
According to a 2020 report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,1 34.1 million U.S. adults had diagnosed or undiagnosed diabetes in 2018. There were slightly more men than women, and more white, non-Hispanic people with diabetes than Black, Asian or Hispanic people combined.
Just two years later, these numbers have gone up, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,2 with 37.3 million people having diagnosed and undiagnosed diabetes. A total of 96 million over the age of 18 have prediabetes, which is 38% of the U.S. adult population.
These numbers demonstrate that diabetes is already at epidemic proportions in the U.S. A study published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology 3 found that adults taking statin medications to control cholesterol levels have a higher risk of developing insulin resistance and Type 2 diabetes than the general population. However, researchers have repeatedly failed to find evidence that high cholesterol is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
As I have discussed in many previous articles, three factors have a far greater influence on your cardiovascular disease risk and, to some degree, are interrelated. These are insulin resistance,4 chronic inflammation5 and high iron levels.6 Unfortunately, these primary contributors are rarely the focus of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment in conventional medicine.
Instead, statins, also called cholesterol-lowering drugs, are the go-to defense in Western medicine, which led to the drug once holding the infamous title of the most profitable drug. Dr. Malcolm Kendrick7 is a general practitioner in Cheshire, England, and the author of three books, including “A Statin Nation: Damaging Millions in a Brave New Post-Health World.” He estimates that the pharmaceutical industry has grossed more than $1 trillion from statins. … continue

this article is batshit looney and it looks as though Iran’s usually upright Press TV has been bought and punked by DNC / FBI propagandists and converted from quality reporting to uncritical, unquestioning, unthinking stenography. m\\

I agree. Anyone who knows anything about the Bolsheviks and Trotsky, I mean Bernstein would never vote for a self-avowed Jewish socialist to the highest office of our REPUBLIC.

Okay Arnieus, you would not vote for anyone descended from Jews because about 100 years ago some Russian Jews among many other Russian nationals were availed of the opportunity to survive and maybe bring about a national homeland zionist or otherwise by joining the CHEKA and participating in massive and widespread atrocities.
Arnieus, can you identify any other involvement in crime or atrocity, or connection with a political or religious group, sex, ethnicity, nationality, race, or any other identifying characteristic which should preclude an American born descendant of that person from fully participating in electoral politics and or standing for election by his / her peers in the USA?
Arnie, most bigots can come-up with a whole list of connections which should result in denying a citizen’s descendants their civil and human rights. But, even American descendants of bigots have rights in the USA. Maybe, the USA was intended to be a whole lot more equal, unbiased and democratic than what you would prefer.
But according to the popular American mythology, your parents like almost everyone else came here to be free and defend the general entitlement to civil and human rights without fear, favor or affection.

Yep, are you a hasbara shill or what?
sanders effectively demonstrated that a democratic socialist perspective is potentially very popular in an American president. if he had been a little better supported by more Democrats he could have become president. But the Democrats were conned into blind support of identity politics and Hillary had the DNC, all the agencies, and the deep state in her pocket; and their hysterical efforts on her behalf created a populist reaction not really so much for Trump as against aggressive political interference from the deep state, Wall Street elites, identity politics and the perpetual warmongers.
As a result, the Democratic Party, having abandoned civil rights, anti-war and organized labor, is now a brand thoroughly mired in and contaminated with divisive identity politics and it now only represents Wall Street, the media and the deep state. The GOP is itching to disconnect from christian zionists and is becoming way more widely populist rather than socially conservative; and the Greens are following in Sanders footsteps towards a pragmatic neutral white house while dutifully exposing the tag team of deep state and Israeli corruption and management of both legislative chambers.
I don’t have a very high regard for sanders’ leadership but one thing I greatly appreciate is he has recovered and rehabilitated the word socialist from the garbage can of American politics and presented it as a gift and alternative path towards a general American reconciliation. So, what’s not to feel optimistic about?
and FYI, there is no discernable communist footprint in current american politics; there is no Stalinist footprint in current Russian politics; and there is no evidence at all of a Russian government footprint in current US electoral politics. But, if the deep state does not keep the anti-russian initiatives and investigations alive, at least in the soft entertainment media, it will itself bite the dust. Here’s hoping eh!
