Jewish settlers celebrate occupation with violation of al-Aqsa Mosque compound

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM – Over 1000 Israeli settlers have broken into al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning hours of Sunday under heavy police presence.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that tension has flared up in the Mosque, especially that hundreds of extremist settlers, rabbis and Israeli leaders are expected to visit the Mosque during the day to mark the so-called “Jerusalem Reunification Day”.
The PIC reporter said that the Israeli police assaulted a group of Aqsa guards for protesting Talmudic and provocative rituals performed by the settlers in the holy site.
Media official at the Islamic Awqaf Department Firas al-Dibis said that the situation started to get worse when the Israeli police opened al-Maghareba Gate to allow more settler break-ins.
So-called Temple Mount groups had called on social media for mass incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque on the anniversary of the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem.
The Israelis on 13th May celebrate the 51st anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of Jerusalem during the 1967 war, also known as “June setback”.
Before 1967, Jerusalem was divided into two parts: the western part, and it was administered by Israel, and the eastern one which was administered by Jordan. The Israelis celebrate the “Jerusalem Reunification Day” in an attempt to emphasize that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel.
Israel occupied the western part of Jerusalem, which covers 84.1% of its area, in 1948, while the eastern part, which represents 11.5% of the city’s area, remained administered by Jordan until 1967. The remaining part was declared a UN-controlled demilitarized zone.

LIES ARE UNBEKOMING | NOVEMBER 6, 2021
I’ve been wondering for quite some time about whether we are in a War and the resolution of my thoughts on the subject has recently improved.
Oddly enough, I have some standing on the subject.
I lived in Iraq between 1981 to 1991, a period that covered almost all of the Iraq/Iran War and all of the Gulf War, the original, not the sequels.
It was an old school type of war, with two parties fighting over territory and trying to redraw a border. A lot of people died over 8 years and the border stayed the same. But weapons were sold, and internal power was consolidated.
That’s really what war is about, territory. You have something that I want, and I will fight you for it.
So, if this is a war, who are the warring parties and what is the fight over?
The war is between “the state” and “the citizen”. The latter is YOU and ME… continue

The beat of impunity for the Zionist beasts and their demented ideology goes on and on — endlessly, just as their persecution of the hapless Palestinians and their divide-and conquer incitements go on and on, endlessly. Various machinations and events (e.g., Saudi de facto dalliance/alliance w/Zionism; the assaults on Iran/Syria/Hezbollah; Egyptian perfidy; Jordanian quaking and complicit indifference; full-on treacherous US subservience; UN impotence; even the convenient diversionary focus far away on the Korean Peninsula) are serving to dilute and divert from the life-sucking reality of daily immiseration of and ultimate genocide against the Palestinians orchestrated by the criminally psychotic beasts (need I write led cunningly and ably by the crazed-sadistic Satanyahu, the current Zioterrorist-in-charge?). Meanwhile, the internal divisions within the Palestinian “leadership” — goosed and intensified at every opportunity by external ZioUS roiling — continue and are, in a word, shameful. All decent, moral, justice-oriented, and international-law-abiding world citizens must continue to keep the flame of Palestine’s deliverance burning with intensity by repeating, repeating, and repeating again and again the truth masterfully/searingly entered into the record by the great John Pilger in his 2003 video-documentary that exposed pure evil: Palestine Is Still THE Issue!!

(Hmmm: I should do research on the final paragraph: wasn’t the entire city of Jerusalem given special status via the [despicable, to be sure; equivalent in perfidy to the 1917 Balfour Declaration] UN Partition Plan of November 1947 as some sort of UN “protectorate” whose fate would be determined in due course by diplomacy, compromise, and [hah!] good will?)
