Congress Moves to Censure Both Ilhan Omar and Marjorie Taylor Greene for Accidentally Offending Jews

By Eric Striker • National Justice • June 16, 2021

Members of Congress have put forth resolutions to censure Reps. Ilhan Omar and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

On the surface, the hijab-wearing Muslim progressive from Minnesota and the gun-toting Southern Evangelical Republican could not be more different. But the two women — portrayed in the press as extreme manifestations of their respective party’s ideologies — have accidentally crossed organized Jewry.

The act of censuring a member of the House of Representatives is less grave than a formal expulsion, but it is still considered to be a serious punishment. Only 24 members of Congress have been censured since 1832, the most recent cases were for engaging in brazen corruption or sexual assault.

In Rep. Omar’s case, Florida Republican Mark Waltz is leading the charge to shut her down for making a moral equivalence between the actions of the Israeli military and the Palestinian resistance group Hamas in a question posed to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

A wide range of Jewish organizations and over a dozen Democrats immediately began attacking Omar. At first, Reps. Omar attempted to call her attackers Islamophobes, but when appealing to identity politics did not work, Omar walked her comment back under pressure from House leader Nancy Pelosi, much to the dismay of pro-Palestine activists.

Rep. Greene is being targeted for comparing COVID restrictions to the “Holocaust.” Democrat Brad Schnieder, who has also led condemnations of Ilhan Omar, announced that he will be “shelving” Greene’s censure after she begged for forgiveness in front of a Holocaust museum on Monday.

While Schnieder appeared to be satisfied with her groveling, the American Jewish Congress (AJC) took the opportunity to attack her even harder.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene, your apology is NOT accepted” read an over the top bulletin on their website. AJC president Jack Rosen is demanding that Greene “find a different career” and went on to condemn her as an abnormal person who cultivates “anti-semites” and “white supremacists” in her base.

Reps. Omar and Greene both serve Jewish interests dutifully in different capacities. Omar has used her political platform to promote “domestic terrorist” and “white supremacist” hysteria, while Greene is an unflinching supporter of the Zionist project abroad.

But the work the two women invest in promoting different Jewish interests do not shield them from constant bad faith attacks from Jewish groups, who demand absolute allegiance on every one of their issues.

  1. “But the work the two women invest in promoting different Jewish interests do not shield them from constant bad faith attacks from Jewish groups, who demand absolute allegiance on every one of their issues”.

Of course the elected representatives in both houses of the American Government must grovel to the AIPAC Gang, and they should realise it. I mean, candidates for the USA Presidency are obliged to mention the importance of Israel to themselves personally as soon as campaigning starts.

American elections are more about Israel, than about the USA. And, it is SO obvious…….

  2. Why is it O.K. to offend anyone else, but, when it comes to Jews, it’s off with their heads? Freedom of speech means you can offend anyone you please. You just can’t threaten them with violence. This ridiculous double standard is disgraceful. I for one am offended that the U.S. government allows dual citizen Israeli/American citizens to be part of the government. I’m also offended by the terrorism of the ADL, SPLC, and AIPAC. The actions of the State of Israel should offend any ethically and morally civilized human being.

    • If you criticise a Jew, they have the right of reply in a “Free” Society……although, it is not clear if the USA is actually a Free Society these days…..

  3. “Organized Jewry” is as “organized” as “organized” can get.  They’re focused, rapacious, anxious to squelch any deviation from their “always the victim” mantra.  I don’t give a damn about Taylor Greene, but it is tragic that Rep. Omar’s assertion that justice should be served equally apropos any perpetrator in whatever appropriate juridical forum/fora is right on and should be obvious to any “civics class” devotees…who seem scarce as hens’ teeth in ZioOccupiedWashDC.  (I’m no expert and not as well versed on this brouhaha as I should be.  Amplification/clarification/elucidation, please….)

Can we get the discourse back on course and centered on the crimes-against-humanity persecution and apartheid levied on the Palestinians by Zionist ‘state’-terrorism?  After all, Palestine Is Still THE Issue!  C’mon, Palestine activists:  Mobilize, Shout out, Persevere, and Prevail!  Viva Palestine!

    • While the American(and other)people are continually distracted from reality, by the Mainstream Media, Hollywood, Facebook, etc, etc, etc…..They will never understand the TRUTH about what is actually going on in the Middle East, in the “House and Congress”, and/or London, Canberra, etc etc……

Modern people live in a bubble, and hate being distracted by REALITY………and the criminals who control Washington, London, International Banks etc etc….will continue to hold the REAL Power in this World, and what any of us think is of no concern to them……

      • I was listening to a Canadian premier talking about the 6 million and how horrible the Nazis were. I don’t want to abruptly stifle his virtue signaling, but, this imbecile has never done any research or looked at any archival evidence. There was never any German policy to exterminate the Jews of Europe and, more importantly, there is no forensic evidence of any homicidal gas chambers in any of the National Socialist work camps. He is just another idiot who believes the victor’s history we have all had flogged on us since 1945. Propaganda by court historians has allowed the Allies to hide their war crimes which were much worse than anything the Germans ever did.

        • The sheer logistics of identifying, rounding up, transporting, processing, and “eliminating” 6,000,000(exactly?) people,(Through what were very limited ‘Gas Chambers’, and then having to bury 6,000,000 bodies…… while your country was at war, and your army was being ‘Butchered’; in Russia, simply does not sound plausible….

Why didn’t the Germans just dig huge pits and eliminate the victims with 1 bullet each? And, why does anyone who questions the “Holocaust” today, become Demonised as “Anti-Semitic”?

          • A sense a rhetorical question, Brian :-)

One reason I get angry about what was perpetrated by the Germans (and others) in WWII is that the “holocaust Industry” actually makes people miss the point.
For me the great crime is about wanton slavery. Deportations were not reserved to Jews but anybody of working age in occupied Europe. The “concentration camps” were not concentration camps – like those the American-Japanese were forced into in the same period – they were work camps were slaves worked. (My wife’s uncle had a mildly better time. French, he was deported at 17 in 1943 to Szczecin Poland to work on a farm.)
Looking at how most of the big camps were organized – clearly there to produce or manufacture. Minimal conditions for inmates with all the vice and evil that would have accompanied that. The inmates would not have behaved properly to each other a lot of the time – most people in fear for their next meal don’t and towards the end of the war everyone in the main European theatre was starving.

You shoot someone – they are dead. You enslave them – the torture and suffering is constant.
That is why the “torture” of the Palestinians is so distressing. It is not grandiose like 6M. It is one or three or five every single day, year upon year upon year; just like an enslavement.

            • … and conscription, even “free” employment, are not so far removed from slavery as we like to think.

Consider all the medical personel who have been compelled to engage in mass murder over the past year. They will suffer a type of torture for the balance of their lives. All because they could not imagine just saying no to authorities.

          • I believe the term wanton slavery is a bit of propaganda itself. Most of the camps were well run with many amenities for the inmates. There was a large hospital with a pediatric wing in Auschwitz. The inmates were paid script and allowed to spend it in commissaries to buy cigarettes, beer, and treats. They were fed very well until the last year of the war when Typhus spread and ravaged thousands from overcrowding. Auschwitz also had a large swimming pool, a theatre, and an orchestra, as well as a brothel. Hundreds of children were born in Auschwitz and treated well. Some of these same children who would never have a memory of the camp tell horror stories about things that obviously never happened to them. There are so many imbecilic stories about Nazi atrocities that I refer to these storytellers as the Holocaust Clowns. I have often laughed myself into near exhaustion listening to these lying idiots.

            • I have heard that there were facilities in these camps for the ‘captives’ but anyone who mentions them, like you just did, are mercilously mocked as “anti-Semites”(which usually means, you’re getting too close to the truth) for the ‘Holocaust Industry”, as Norman Finklestein has described it, and been persecuted for doing it………..

              • A German by the name of Wilhelm Marr coined the term antisemitism in 1879 to mark anti-Jewish activities in Central-Europe at the time. But, the phrase itself is a bit of a misnomer when applied to the majority of the Jewish population today in the West and Israel. Over 90% of Jews in the West today are Ashkenazi and not Sephardic. The Ashkenazi Jews did not originate in Palestine or any area in the Middle East as did the Sephardic Jews. Their origin is Central-East Asia and their ethnic make-up is Turkic mixed with Slavic. They were once known as Khazars and they adopted Talmudic-Judaism in 871AD. This makes their religion much younger than Christianity. These people eventually settled down in Russia and Poland in what was called the Pale of Settlement in these regions. They are not Semites and have no history in the area known as the Holy Land.
