Report: Israel demolished 950 Palestinian homes in 2022

Israeli occupation forces demolished 950 Palestinian homes and confiscated more than 113,000 dunams (113 square kilometres) of land in 2022 in an effort to expand illegal Jewish-only settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, a Palestinian research centre said.
The Land Research Centre, operating in Palestine, said in its annual report on “Israeli Violations Against Palestinian Land and Housing Rights for 2022” that the Israeli forces have also torched, ravaged, or attacked 18,900 trees, most of them olive trees.
The report noted that 65 of the homes were demolished by their owners under the orders of Israeli occupation forces.
Some 66 wells were also razed in addition to 3,707 dunums (3.7 square kilometres) of land and pastures.
“The Israeli occupation issued 114 new settlement plans on Palestinian lands, and began construction on more than half of them and built about 2,220 new housing units for the settlers,” it added.
The Palestinian centre warned that all these measures confirm that the Israeli government has decided to destroy all agreements and impose new realities on the ground, making the two-state solution impossible to achieve.

The following translation was performed free of charge to protest an injustice: the destruction by the ADL of Ariel Toaff’s Blood Passover on Jewish ritual murder. The author is the son of the Chief Rabbi of Rome, and a professor of Jewish Renaissance and Medieval History at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, just outside Tel Aviv.
Dr. Toaff is uniquely qualified to write this book, being thoroughly familiar with the derivative literature in English, French, German and Italian, as well as the original documentary sources in Latin, Medieval Italian, Hebrew and Yiddish. This is not something he worked on in secret. On the contrary, he worked on it openly with his university students and colleagues in Israel for several years; one of his students was even going to publish a paper on the subject. The author is extremely careful about what he says, and his conclusions must be taken seriously. It reads like a detective story.
If it had been published in Israel, in Hebrew, no one would have cared. There are large bodies of literature in Hebrew that Jews do not wish Gentiles to know about. But Dr. Toaff’s announcement of its publication in Italy, in Italian, raised a worldwide firestorm of fury.
Under unbearable pressure, the book was withdrawn from publication. Come in out of the darkness, and strike a blow for the light.

The World does not want to put up. Money has bought the American, English and many English speaking governments which control the UN. What can the World do? Relying on the Soviet Union? Look at those who surrounded Stalin! Relying on J.F.Kennedy? He got killed for daring to order the US Treasury to print US dollar notes. Relying on Jimmy Carter? He got booted out for daring to say something for the Palestinian. Relying on other US Presidents? They all got pampered by the late J.Eipstein and G.Maxwell.
There is no solution in sight.

While the orchestrated media focuses on Putin’s defence of Russian people terrorized and murdered over the last decade in Ukraine, the illegal occupiers of Palestine get away with unjustified terrorism against a harmless people with no defences, who have scarcely fought back against their marauding squatters, except with their own lives, and yet who get no effective media attention. Their country has been stolen and a heartless regime bent on mass Genocide is not condemned in the court of international opinion because of the inordinate power and influence of their co-religionist lobbyists in Washington and other governments. Something must be done.

…..And, not one word of condemnation from the American (or British) governments, who claim to be “Free and Democratic”.
And the United Nations, regularly pass resolutions against Israel’s dreadful behaviour in the General Assembly, but the resolutions are ‘hit out of the Ball Park”, by the UN Security Council, time and time again.
They’ve got all bases covered.

If Palestinian refused to play by the rules of the British occupiers and rose up against the British like the Vietnamese against the French then they might still have their own Palestinian State.
Remember that Freedom is NOT for free. “Free and Democratic” are only for the rulers.

“… Between 1919 and 1936, the ruling British supported taking the land of tens of thousands of “fellahin” ( Palestinian villagers) and giving it to European Zionist settlers.
In response to the unfair transfer of Palestinian land to settlers, Palestinians resisted and called for a general strike from 1936 to 1939 accompanied by boycotts of all British and Zionist institutions. The strike was met with extreme physical force and resulted in a popular uprising. The uprising was eventually crushed, and the British imprisoned 5,000 Palestinians, executed 148 people and demolished 5,000 homes. …”

It was sad!
In Vietnam the French was faced with very long (1884 to 1945) and countrywide uprisals. There were many battle fronts between French occupiers and Vietnamese resistant fighters and many Vietnamese heroes had been guillotined by the French. Death from infested wounds was PROBABLY more than 100,000. Public execution by guillotines PROBABLY more than 1000 (Someone should have accurate figures). I am not aware of those figures, I only estimated the figures from the duration of the occupation and intensity of the resistance. After 1945 the figures were documented by both sides.
Vietnam was more lucky than Palestine in that many Asian neighbours had helped its fight for Independence. Imperial Japan defeated Indochinese French force for a few year before 1945.

Israel is a garrison state in a perpetual war against itself. When, after two years of hard earned negotiated Oslo Accord agreements , Yitsak Rabin was assassinated! Not by Arabs, but by Jewish extremists who refuse to live peacefully with Palestinians. Tragically they hold the upper hand and with Netanyahu in charge. Any chance there may come a change will have to wait until he is out of power.
