Investigation: At least 54 high-profile media personalities are connected to Soros-funded organizations

Billionaire George Soros has links to dozens of prominent media figures in the US and beyond via organizations he funded, a conservative US watchdog claims.
In the last report of a three-part investigation, published on Tuesday, MRC Business examined the ties of the Budapest-born liberal mogul, coming to the conclusion that he “cemented himself as one of the most powerful influencers in global politics through his incredible influence in the media.”
MRC Business said that it had uncovered at least “54 major figures in journalism and activist media who are connected to Soros-funded organizations.” The list includes CNN’s chief international anchor Christiane Amanpour, NBC News anchor Lester Holt, and Cesar Conde, the NBCUniversal News Group chairman, who oversees the outlets NBC News, MSNBC, and CNBC.
Many of the 54 individuals play prominent roles in institutions funded by Soros. For instance, Amanpour is a senior adviser at the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), which received $2.75 million from the mogul between 2018 and 2020, while Holt is listed as a board member in the same organization. Conde is a trustee at the Aspen Institute, which received over $1 million from the billionaire between 2016 and 2020.
According to MRC, in total Soros has funneled over $32 billion into his organizations in a bid “to spread his radical ‘open society’ agenda on abortion, Marxist economics, anti-Americanism, defunding the police, environmental extremism and LGBT fanaticism.” These efforts have paid off, allowing him to “help indoctrinate millions with his views on a day-to-day basis”, the group claims.
MRC has previously claimed that Soros has financial ties to at least 253 media organizations globally, funding them through his non-profit groups and enabling him to reach viewers and listeners in virtually every corner of the world.
Commenting on the report, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted on Thursday that such revelations could be compared to a “nuclear bombshell.” Should it be proven that the leading US media outlets “received money for adjusting their coverage, all US democracy could be wrapped up in their Constitution and thrown out into the garbage heap of history,” she said.

Executive Summary
For the first time, complementary shipping records and government data provide the most detailed public snapshot to date of Canada’s military support for Israel’s assault on Gaza—contradicting repeated claims that Canada had stopped sending weapons to Israel.
As of July 23, 2025, the Gaza Ministry of Health reports that at least 59,219 Palestinians have been killed and 143,045 have been injured in Gaza since October 7, 2023.1 As a signatory to the Geneva Conventions and Arms Trade Treaty, Canada is legally obligated to prevent and not be complicit in genocide, and must ensure that its actions, including arms transfers, do not facilitate serious violations of international law.2
This report unveils the hidden reality behind Canada’s public statements on arms exports to Israel, revealing a systematic deception that has enabled the flow of Canadian-made
weapons directly into one of the deadliest military assaults in modern history. Using two complementary methodologies never before applied to track Canadian arms exports—commercial shipping data tracing direct shipments from Canadian manufacturers to Israel through July 2025, and Israeli Tax Authority (ITA) import data from October 2023 to May 2025—this report exposes a vastly different reality than government claims: a continuous, massive pipeline of Canadian weapons flowing directly to Israel.
While former Foreign Affairs Minister Joly and Prime Minister Trudeau, as well as current Prime Minister Mark Carney have repeatedly insisted that Canada has restricted arms exports to Israel, this report uncovers:
• 47 shipments with detailed commercial shipping records uncovered from manufacturers in Canada selling military-related components to Israeli weapons companies between October 2023 and July 2025;
• 421,070 bullets exported to Israel since the Gaza assault began, including one shipment in April 2025 alone containing 175,000 bullets;
• Three shipments of cartridges from a General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) facility in Repentigny, Quebec, including one that occurred nine days after the then-Foreign Affairs Minister publicly pledged that Canada would block munitions exports from the same Quebec company to the Israeli military;
• 391 shipments including bullets, military equipment, weapons parts, aircraft components, and communication devices exported from Canada to Israel between October 2023 and June 2025, according to data from the Israeli Tax Authority (ITA) – representing only a portion of total exports;
• Shipments from seven Canadian cities destined primarily for Israel’s largest weapons company Elbit Systems and its subsidiaries, along with other Israeli defence firms including Elta Systems, WaldyTech, Snunit Aviation and NIRON Systems;
• Around 100 international flights transporting Canadian components to Israel – 64 of them commercial passenger flights where military cargo was loaded beneath civilian travelers on routes through Frankfurt, Paris, New York, Abu Dhabi, and New Delhi.
The findings confirm the continued export of military goods to Israel in 2025, despite repeated Canadian government statements asserting restrictions or prohibitions on such transfers. … continue

Investigators for Executive Intelligence Review uncovered some of what happened to Giorgi Schwartz aka George Soros during WWII. The young Giorgi Schwartz age 14, survived being taken to the concentration camps because his father was able to obtain false papers with a new identity. He was now George Soros the Christian. Many Jews searched for places of hiding for protection. They were aided by Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg and other foreign diplomats who organized false papers and safe houses for them. These actions saved tens of thousands of Jews. But the young Schwartz boy now George Soros, a Christian, was given a job by Hungarian nazi-collaborators. Hungary was allied with Nazi Germany. Despite discriminatory legislation against the Jews and widespread antisemitism, the 25,000 members of the Jewish community of Budapest were relatively secure until the German occupation of Hungary in March 1944. With the occupation, the Germans ordered the establishment of a Jewish council in Budapest and severely restricted Jewish life. Apartments occupied by Jews were confiscated. Hundreds of Jews were rounded up and interned in the Kistarcsa transit camp 15 miles northeast of Budapest. Between April and July 1944, the Germans and Hungarians deported Jews from the Hungarian provinces. By the end of July, the Jews in Budapest were virtually the only Jews remaining in Hungary. They were not immediately ghettoized. Instead, in June 1944, Hungarian authorities ordered the Jews into over 2,000 designated buildings scattered throughout the city. The buildings were marked with the Stars of David. The 25,000 Jews from the suburbs of Budapest were rounded up and transported to the Auschwitz-Birkenau killing center.
Soros’s new job? Dispossessing Jewish families who were sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau of their possession. You could argue that he had little choice in order to stay alive. If it weren’t for the fact that while being interviewed by Steve Croft on 60 Minutes, Croft asked Soros how as a Jew, he reconciled working for the Nazis. Soros answered, telling Croft that “those were the years that made me who I am”. A fascist.
