The Biden regime’s plan to tackle “antisemitism” is to make online platforms “accountable”

White House Tells Social Media Platforms To Take A “Zero-Tolerance” Stance Against “Hate Speech”

The White House unveiled a strategy to fight antisemitism that involves telling Congress to push social media platforms to be held “accountable” for hate speech.

The 60-page document details four pillars of the strategy which are raising awareness, improving safety for Jewish communities, reversing what they call the normalization of antisemitism, and countering antisemitic discrimination and hate speech.

In a pre-recorded message before the unveiling of the strategy, President Joe Biden described it “a historic step forward” and the “most ambitious and comprehensive US government-led effort to fight antisemitism in American history.”

The document contains over 100 calls to action for legislators and others in society to fight antisemitism, including calling on online platforms to have “zero-tolerance” for hate speech.

The outline involves working with social media platforms heavily.

“We also call on Congress to hold social media platforms accountable for spreading hate-fueled violence, including antisemitism; impose much stronger transparency requirements on online platforms,” the White House said in a statement.

  1. Has this president ever read the Constitution? Does he not know that the First Amendment to the Constitution is the right to free speech? I’m a Canadian and have read your Constitution and I’m envious that it is yours and not ours. Unfortunately, America is so broken, you don’t even use its provisions any longer. It’s time to jettison the Empire and become a Republic again. Watching Biden is like watching a dementia commercial.

  2. As long as we hold Israel accountable for all war crimes committed since 1947. They must also sign the nuclear proliferation act. It’s also unlawful for the US to provide aid to a nuclear power; we must also consider that Israel has no formal security treaty with the U.S. and providing 100s of billion of dollars to an apartheid state is troubling. AIPAC is lobbying entity for a foreign nation and should not be allowed in the U.S.

  3. In the article/post below this, China “… has called on Israel to “stop encroaching” upon Palestinian territory and resources, as Tel Aviv continues to allow and approve the construction of illegal Jewish settlements in the Occupied Territories.” And, “On the issue of religious holy sites, Israel must stop its provocations, guarantee the right to worship of Muslim worshipers, uphold the peace and tranquillity of religious holy sites, and respect the custodianship of Jordan”…

This criticism of Israel is criticism of Israel. Being such, the definition of anti-semitism classifies it as that. Round and round it goes, the ever more leveraging to satisfy there to be no criticism of Israel, from any source.

Thus, any action taken by Israel would be permissible, that is, not subject to “criticism”. Free to continue its past history, free to continue into the future, is what Israel wants.
