1. Former Oklahoma Senator David Boren identified the operation behind the Iran Contra affair as a “secret government!” What he was referring to then was a quasi-government centered around the President of Vice, George HW Bush, that operated as a parallel government working in secrecy and covertly to arm and equip the Nicaraguan Contras who were at war with the socialist government of the Sandinistas.

   Called the “Deep State” today, this parallel government incorporates the actions of the Military, Defense Industry, Congress, Intelligence Agencies, Justice Dept, Mass Media, Academia, Finance, and Think Tanks as a single complex unified in their belief that they and they alone know what’s best for America. The Deep States even made up rules for all other nations to follow in its do as I say not as I do uni-polar world.

   It was during the 1980 Presidential election cycle that this cabal’s frontman George HW Bush was outed by Ronald Reagan at a New Hampshire town hall “meet the candidate’s” event. Reagan had earlier picked up on Lyndon LaRouche’s hard-hitting attacks on Bush for being a member of David Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission. After Reagan torpedoed Bush as a Trilateral, it sunk Bush’s campaign and paved the way for Reagan to win the 1980 election in a landslide victory over Wall Street’s lickspittle Jimmy Carter. Reagan repaid LaRouche by incorporating Lyndon LaRouche’s 1977 “Beam Weapon Defense” proposal into our nation’s US strategic defense strategy. He called it the Strategic Defense Initiative.

   Powerful forces from within the secret government/deep state apparatus were incensed that a private citizen had interfered in the political process to change US strategic defense policy from mutual and assured destruction, MAD, to mutual and assured defense! Thus, in March 1983 Reagan announced his new (LaRouchian) beam defense strategy on national television. It wasn’t long before the knives came out for LaRouche.

   Between 1983 and 1986 LaRouche and his organization stood all alone under attack from federal and state authorities that were under the control of the parallel government/deep state. Then on a brisk early morning in October 1986, 400 local, state, and federal police raided LaRouche’s offices in Leesburg, VA. The FBI carted off everything. The FBI hoped it was information that would implicate LaRouche in wrongdoing so they could get a judge to issue an arrest warrant that could be used to kill LaRouche while serving him at his farm outside Leesburg.
   Approximately ten of LaRouche’s associates were arrested at their homes on the day of the raid. They were charged with selling a security without a license. It was a made-for-TV charge under the color of law since all those arrested were in fact LaRouche fundraisers. Obviously, the deep state felt that if they could deliver a knockout blow to LaRouche by eliminating the organization’s financial means of existence while they sent LaRouche to prison, it would take care of the LaRouche thorn in their side. The chief reason they failed was because of the persistent and relentless fight for the truth and the ideas LaRouche put forward.

   The point I’m making by telling this story is that the majority of Americans in our society simply stood back and watched as this monstrous abuse of power was used to silence LaRouche.

   Lyndon Hermyle LaRouche, whose only power was the power of his ideas and his willful determination to help shape national and international policies as a private citizen, continued his work from prison.
   They railroaded LaRouche into federal prison where he spent five of a fifteen-year sentence on two manufactured conspiracy charges.

   Lyndon H. LaRouche passed away on Lincoln’s Birthday, February 12, 2019. His presence is sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. But the ideas and the passion that lived within him throughout his life, live on.

   Postscript. LaRouche’s World Land Bridge came to life in 2013, fifteen years after he proposed it. Xi Jinping announced the introduction of the Belt and Road/New Silk Road Initiative after a BRICS meeting in Brazil that same year. Lyndon LaRouche had reworked the idea since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. He called it the Productive Triangle”.
   LaRouche expanded it after the collapse of the Soviet system. He named it the “Eurasian Land Bridge”.
   The LaRouches worked to expand the Eurasian land bridge through the development of the old silk road trade routes. The idea was to build high-speed rail systems connecting cities and nations along the New Silk Road. Development along these new rail routes would be sufficient to create economic corridors 50 km on either side of the rail line. Organizing for it would take place in China and other places by the LaRouches.
   The World Land-Bridge concept was designed in graphic detail and organizing for it took place in Europe and Asia thanks to the LaRouche’s, associates and supporters.

   Today, The LaRouche Organization-TLO, and the Schiller Institute, led by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the wife of Mr. LaRouche are organizing armed with LaRouche’s ideas and his vision of a future made fit for mankind.
   Toward that effort, Helga Zepp-LaRouche has put forward a 10-point program to achieve peace and development in a world suffering from needless starvation, deprivation, and war. Solutions to world hunger and war do exist as we have seen by the actions of China. The United States must also become part of the solution, not the problem. By educating Americans to become familiar with LaRouche’s ideas and concepts we can overcome the ignorance and dummying down that has been the hallmark of mainstream media. A mainstream that leads right to the sewer. Schiller and LaRouche represent solutions to the current crises facing mankind today. Solutions LaRouche proposed during his lifetime, and are supported by major governments today.
