Congress investigating possible secret ‘bioweaponization’ of insects by the Pentagon

RT | July 16, 2019

The US Congress has backed an amendment to the 2020 US Defense budget which could force an investigation into allegations that the pentagon had weaponized insects, including ticks, in a secret program.

Rep. Christopher Smith (R-New Jersey), co-chair of the House Lyme Disease Caucus, asked a series of hard-hitting questions about the alleged ‘bioweaponization’ program and its potential side-effects, including the possible spread of a bacterial infection.

“Americans have a right to know whether any of this is true,” Smith said in a news release. “And have these experiments caused Lyme disease and other tick-borne disease to mutate and to spread? Who ordered it? Were any ticks released by design?”

Lawmakers are considering whether or not to include Smith’s amendment in the final version of the budget which will ultimately be presented to President Donald Trump.

The amendment to the House version of the Defense budget for 2020 would require the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General to explain whether the US military had indeed experimented with weaponizing ticks and other insects between 1950 and 1975.

If found to be true, the inspector general must present Congress with information regarding the full extent and scope of the research.

Rumors have persisted for years of researchers at New York’s Plum Island and Maryland’s Fort Detrick conducting experiments on insects to turn them into biological weapons though no conclusive evidence of such biowarfare programs has been found. Yet.

  1. I’m waiting for Hollywood to make a movie about the corruption in the US Congress/ Pentagon/CIA. It probably won’t happen, because Hollywood would have to show “Their own People” doing all the “Dirty Work” behind the scenes, and thumbing their Noses at the LAW….…..

  2. Weaponizing ticks? we’ve just got to give those gifted scientists something else to do! ? Must I remind the readers about that I 35 Mississippi River bridge incident in Minnesota? an eight-lane expanse with a steel truss supporting arch, carrying 140,000 vehicles every day, suffered a structural collapse so severe that it plunged into the river waters below, killing eleven people and injuring over one hundred others! How many bridges across America are in a similar state of disrepair?

Sergei Popov PhD, bioweaponeer and researcher in the former CCCP, outlined his secret projects on Youtube, to western Occident nations about “Project Bonfire” and “Project Factor” How their research efforts successfully created new and synthetic life forms, never before seen in nature, such as microbial weapons with high virulence, improved stability, and these disease(s) could neither be recognized or diagnosed by the best of physicians.. Popov’s revelations should have terrified us into cancelling idiotic military projects like “killer ticks, and bee’s”, naval warfare using Porpoises, This “stuff” has been going on forever. I strongly recommend the reader(s) to unearth an older book for reference. Perhaps now out of circulation? The Ultimate Folly authored by Congressman Richard D. McCarthy and published by Alfred A. Knopf…In, get this,1969. The horrors spelled out in those pages will raise the hair on your head !

    Please wake up folks!
