Showdown

By William Schryver – imetatronink – February 2, 2026

For several years now I have been making the argument that, because American military power is so widely dispersed and diluted across the planet, the only way the United States could concentrate sufficient forces to prosecute a war against one of its three major power adversaries (Russia, China, and Iran) would be to significantly deplete its force posture relative to the other two.

That is precisely what has been happening over the course of the past few weeks in relation to the military buildup in the Persian Gulf region, in apparent preparation to launch an air campaign against Iran.

Now, granted, as I wrote yesterday, the force the US is concentrating in the Middle East via an aggressive heavy airlift operation is not sufficiently potent to sustain more than about two weeks of high-intensity war against Iran. US stockpiles of precision-guided weaponry are simply too limited to allow for a more protracted campaign.

Nor do I believe the US has the logistical and maintenance capacity to keep a large percentage of its fleet of aging aircraft air-worthy for more than about two weeks — especially when there will very likely be Iranian missiles raining down on all the US bases in the region.

And therefore, if Iran proves capable of turning it into even a month-long regional war of attrition, there is no way I can see the US being able to sustain its sortie rate, nor to tolerate the losses of men and equipment it would inevitably incur. … continue

US and European forces could deploy to Ukraine under Zelensky plan – FT

RT | February 3, 2026

Kiev and its Western backers have drawn up a plan that envisages military forces from the US and European countries moving into Ukraine to fight Russian troops in the event that Moscow violates the ceasefire being demanded by Vladimir Zelensky, the Financial Times has reported, citing sources.

Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin, have repeatedly rejected the idea of a ceasefire as a precursor to a peace deal, saying it would only be used by Kiev and its sponsors to rearm and regroup forces. Instead, Moscow has insisted that the conflict needs a permanent peace solution which addresses its root causes. Russia has also categorically ruled out the deployment of Western forces to Ukraine during or after the crisis. … continue

Three killed by Ukrainian artillery strike on Russian city – governor

RT | February 3, 2026

A Ukrainian artillery strike on the city of Novaya Kakhovka in Russia’s Kherson Region has left three civilians dead, including a local administration employee, and several others injured, Governor Vladimir Saldo reported on Tuesday.

The attack took place earlier in the day and targeted civilian infrastructure, hitting a grocery store and a multifunctional public service center, Saldo wrote on Telegram, denouncing the strike as “yet another war crime by the Kiev regime.”

“They are targeting civilians, those who simply live and work. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are murderers who stop at nothing,” the governor said, noting that the attack comes amid Kiev’s “loud declarations of ‘readiness for peace.’”

Saldo added that emergency services are working at the scene of the attack and that the families of the victims and the injured will receive full assistance. … Full article

Vaccine mRNA, Plasmid DNA, and Spike Protein can persist in humans more than 3.5 years after COVID-19 vaccination

By Nicolas Hulscher, MPH | FOCAL POINTS | February 2, 2026

For years, the public was told that mRNA vaccine materials would degrade within days to weeks — rapidly broken down, biologically transient, and incapable of long-term persistence. That assumption shaped regulatory assurances, public messaging, and safety expectations worldwide. Billions across the globe received these injections based on the claim that the genetic material would quickly disappear from the body.

Today, that narrative collapses — following a coordinated, multi-country investigative effort involving the McCullough Foundation, the INMODIA laboratory (Germany), the Municipal Hospital Dresden-Friedrichstadt (Germany), Neo7Bioscience, and collaborating independent laboratories.

The resulting paper, titled “Unprecedented Persistence of Vaccine mRNA, Plasmid DNA, Spike Protein, and Genomic Dysregulation Over 3.5 Years Post–COVID-19 mRNA Vaccination,” presents what is, to our knowledge, the most comprehensive COVID-19 vaccine injury case report to date — involving >40 emergency department visits, >200 specialist encounters across 18 medical disciplines, >100 laboratory investigations, >100 imaging studies, and serial blood and tissue sampling performed at multiple timepoints over more than 3.5 years.

The findings reveal longitudinal molecular evidence that vaccine-derived mRNA, plasmid DNA fragments, and spike protein can persist in human blood and tissue more than 3.5 years after vaccination — independently confirmed across multiple laboratories using diverse analytical methods. … continue

Jury Awards $2 Million to Woman Who Sued Over ‘Gender-Affirming’ Surgery She Had as Teen

By Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D. | The Defender | February 2, 2026

An adult woman who had her breasts removed as part of “gender-affirming” surgery performed when she was a teenager won a $2 million settlement in a New York court last week.

The three-week case, heard before the Westchester County Supreme Court, represented the first detransitioner malpractice lawsuit to go to trial and succeed in the U.S., the New York Post reported.

Fox Varian, now 22, underwent a double mastectomy in 2019, when she was 16. Afterward, she felt that her gender transition had harmed her, so she detransitioned. In 2023, she sued her psychologist, Dr. Kenneth Einhorn, and her plastic surgeon, Dr. Simon Chin.

Varian’s complaint alleged negligence, reckless disregard for her mental and emotional health and a failure to obtain informed consent.

On Jan. 30, a jury awarded Varian $1.6 million for past and future pain and suffering and $400,000 toward future medical expenses. … continue

New York Bans Israel-Linked Terror Group

A Good Start, But…

By Kevin Barrett | American Free Press | February 2, 2026

On January 13, the State of New York set a small but significant precedent by banning the Jewish-supremacist terror group Betar. In a settlement with the state’s Attorney General, Betar agreed to stop terrorizing New Yorkers who disagree with the group’s pro-Israel, Jewish-supremacist agenda. Simultaneously with the agreement Betar dissolved its New York operations—but vowed to reconstitute itself and continue terrorizing Americans in other jurisdictions.

Though New York did not officially deem Betar a terrorist group, it’s clear that’s exactly what it is. The definition of terrorism is: “Using violence or the threat of violence against civilians to create fear for political purposes.”

Clearly, terrorism was and remains Betar’s central mission. … continue

Mediterranean dockworkers set to strike against arms flow to Israel

Press TV – February 2, 2026

Dockworkers at more than 20 Mediterranean ports are planning a strike next week to protest arms shipments to Israel and their governments’ “complicity” in the Gaza genocide, demanding an immediate halt to weapons transfers.

The Italy-based grassroots dockworkers’ union, Unione Sindacale di Base (USB), announced it will participate in an international general strike on February 6.

“If we don’t take this step, all our other demands will be crushed under war,” Francesco Staccioli of USB warned.

Italian dockworkers will join colleagues across Greece, the Basque Country, Morocco, and Turkey in a coordinated action opposing the growing militarization of key transport infrastructure.

The strike aims to prevent arms shipments, reject rearmament, and oppose the impact of a war economy on workers’ rights and social security systems. … Full article

Israel strikes target civilian areas in southern Lebanon

Al Mayadeen | February 2, 2026

Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, striking residential areas and commercial zones, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the region.

In the town of Kfar Tebnit, an Israeli strike targeted a house that had been listed in the latest so-called evacuation order issued by the Israeli occupation. The attack caused significant damage to the surrounding area, our correspondent said.

A separate airstrike targeted a building in Ain Qana, reducing a two-storey home to rubble. The blast caused extensive damage to nearby buildings and shops, underscoring the scale of destruction inflicted by the raid.

The strike on Ain Qana took place just before students were dismissed from nearby schools, intensifying fears for civilian safety and raising concerns over the timing of the attack in a densely populated area.

Emergency and rescue teams were dispatched to both locations shortly after the strikes, working to assess the damage and assist those wounded.

The air raids followed an earlier Israeli drone attack on the coastal road connecting Sarafand and Ansariyeh, marking another escalation in aerial aggression across southern Lebanon. … Full article

Soldiers Detonate a Palestinian Home in Halhul, Hebron

IMEMC | February 2, 2026

Israeli occupation forces detonated the home of 23‑year‑old Mahmoud Yousef Aabed at dawn on Monday in the town of Halhul, north of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Large military units, accompanied by armored vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment, invaded several neighborhoods in Halhul before surrounding the Aabed family home.

An Israeli explosive‑engineering team was deployed to the area, and troops imposed a tight cordon around the building.

Israeli military engineers later planted explosive charges inside the walls of Aabed’s apartment, located within a multi‑story residential building, and then detonated it.

Residents of nearby homes were forced to evacuate before the detonation. Local sources said that among those evacuated were individuals with medical conditions who received treatment from Palestinian Red Crescent Society emergency teams. … Full article

Israel extends closure, siege of northern West Bank camps until end of March

MEMO | February 2, 2026

The Israeli army has issued a new military order extending the closure and siege of several refugee camps in the northern West Bank as part of its ongoing intensified military operations in the area.

According to the document, the Head of the Israeli Army’s Central Command in the West Bank, Major General Avi Bluth, signed the order to extend restrictions on movement in the refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarm and Nur Shams. “The decision would take effect from 30 January 2026 and remain in force until 31st March 2026 at 11:59pm.”

The military order bans any person from entering or leaving the cordoned areas of the affected camps without a special permit. Israeli army and police forces are exempt from these restrictions.

The extension comes amid continued escalation in the northern West Bank camps, with warnings of a worsening humanitarian situation due to strict movement restrictions and the ongoing closure and siege, which have been in place for more than a year.

Palestinian Information Center | February 2, 2026

WEST BANK – A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces on Monday evening in the city of Qalqilya, in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews received the victim, who had been shot with live ammunition by Israeli troops. CPR was administered at the scene before his death was confirmed.

UAE seeks to take over full civil administration in Gaza with Israeli backing

MEMO | February 2, 2026

The United Arab Emirates is seeking to take full control of civil affairs in the Gaza Strip, with Israeli support for the move, as part of the transition to the second phase of the war ceasefire agreement, according to an Israeli media report.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported on Sunday evening that the UAE has held talks in recent weeks with the United States and Israel about managing civilian matters in Gaza.

The report said Abu Dhabi aims to oversee all civil affairs in the territory and plans to invest billions of dollars in Gaza. Under the proposal, several billion dollars would be transferred immediately, with further investments to follow at a later stage.

According to the channel, an agreement between the two governments is currently being drafted, although its details still require Israeli approval. However, draft versions of the agreement have already been exchanged, and Israel supports the initiative.

The report added that the UAE intends to manage all markets and trade in Gaza. Armed security forces would be deployed to protect logistics centres that are planned to be set up across the territory.

Alongside Emirati security forces, private American security companies would also operate in Gaza, the report said.

The UAE also plans to purchase all goods entering Gaza from Israel and to use Israeli contractors. Distribution centres would be upgraded into logistics hubs, from which goods would be delivered to the private sector inside the Gaza Strip.

Saudi media takes an anti-‘Israel’ turn: WSJ

Al Mayadeen | February 2, 2026

Saudi Arabia’s state-backed media has adopted an increasingly hostile tone toward “Israel,” signaling diminishing prospects for diplomatic normalization between the two regional powers as the war on Gaza continues to reshape political calculations across West Asia.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) wrote on Monday that the shift has been reflected in official and semi-official outlets. In a January editorial, the daily Al-Riyadh accused “Israel” of disregarding international law and state sovereignty, stating that “wherever Israel is present, there is ruin and destruction.”

According to WSJ, religious figures have echoed the rhetoric. In a December sermon at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid declared, “Oh God, deal with the Jews who have seized and occupied, for they cannot escape your power.”

Saudi officials say the increasingly sharp messaging is partly driven by the kingdom’s escalating rivalry with the United Arab Emirates, a regional competitor for economic leadership that has taken opposing positions to Riyadh in multiple West Asian conflicts. The UAE is also the most prominent Arab signatory of the series of US-backed normalization agreements with “Israel.”continue

Fantasies of Fragmenting Iran Only Serve Israeli Interests

By José Niño | The Libertarian Institute | February 2, 2026

A troubling convergence has emerged among Western think tanks, Israeli politicians, and exiled opposition figures advocating for the partition of Iran along ethnic and sectarian lines. This strategy represents a dangerous escalation from traditional regime change toward what can only be described as regime destruction, a policy shift that would benefit Israeli regional ambitions while catastrophically destabilizing the Middle East and creating humanitarian disasters that would dwarf the Syrian refugee crisis.

Iran’s demographic reality forms the pretext for these proposals. Persians constitute between 51 and 61% of the population, while Azerbaijanis comprise 16 to 24%, Kurds represent 7 to 10%, with smaller populations of Arabs, Baloch, Lurs, and Turkmen rounding out the nation’s ethnic composition. Rather than viewing this diversity as a national strength, Balkanization advocates frame it as a strategic vulnerability ripe for exploitation. … continue

Mike Pompeo admits Washington ‘directly helped’ rioters in Iran

Press TV – February 2, 2026

Former CIA director Mike Pompeo has admitted that Washington played a direct role in recent violent riots in Iran, saying the United States “directly helped” the rioters.

In an interview with Israeli Channel 13 on Monday, the interviewer referred to US President Donald Trump’s promises of support for the rioters and suggested that such help never materialized.

Pompeo rejected that view, responding, “I do not think so. Help did come … a lot of help. We may not see it all … We may not know about it all, But the United States is actively trying to help [them].”

When asked whether Trump had missed the opportunity to “overthrow” the Iranian government, Pompeo again disagreed.

His remarks revealed that despite the Trump administration’s repeated statements about pursuing a peaceful solution with Iran, Washington was in practice working toward “regime change” in Tehran. … continue

Iranian FM reveals ‘fruitful’ indirect talks with US in push for de-escalation

The Cradle | February 2, 2026

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in an interview on 1 February that a nuclear agreement with the US was still possible, while warning that a war would engulf the entire region.

Speaking to CNN, Araghchi said indirect communications through regional intermediaries have been “fruitful,” stressing that negotiations must focus strictly on Iran’s nuclear program rather than missiles or regional allies. “Unfortunately, we have lost our trust (in) the US as a negotiating partner.”

In June last year, Iran was attacked by Israel in the middle of nuclear negotiations. US President Donald Trump pretended to favor diplomacy while secretly plotting war with the Israeli leadership.

When asked about halting support for resistance groups in West Asia and a cap on the ballistic missile program, which Washington is demanding, Araghchi told CNN, “Let’s not talk about impossible things.”

“And not lose the opportunity to achieve a fair and equitable deal to ensure no nuclear weapons. That, as I said, is achievable even in a short period of time,” he added. “Of course, in return, we expect sanction lifting.” … continue

Epstein Files Give More Evidence That Jeffrey Epstein Was A Mossad Agent

The Dissident | February 1, 2026

Jeffery Epstein’s Israel connections have been well documented by Drop Site News, through leaked emails of the former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who was a close associate of Jeffery Epstein, and often used him as a backchannel to States, for example, to Russia during the Syrian war.

The newly released files from the Department of Justice adds further evidence of Jeffery Epstein’s Israel connections, and even raises the possibility that he was an agent of the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence service, trained under Ehud Barak.

This possibility is best underscored in an FBI document released in the Epstein files, which quoted a CHS (Confidential Human Source), who claimed that Epstein was an agent of the Mossad.

The CHS was apparently connected to Epstein’s former lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, with the document noting, “CHS learned that Dershowitz influenced many students from wealthy families. For example. Josh Kushner (Josh) and Jared Kushner (Jared) were both his students. Dershowitz told CHS that if he were young again, he would be holding a stun gun as an Israeli Intelligence (Mossad) agent. CHS believed Dershowitz was co-opted by Mossad and subscribed to their mission. CHS still continues to communicate occasionally for Dershowitz”. … continue

American Zionists are using Trump’s Republican Party to create a multicultural supremacist elite

By Matt Wolfson | Al Mayadeen | February 2, 2026

On January 13, 2025, seven days before Donald Trump’s second inauguration as president, The Free Press, the online magazine created by the Zionist operator Bari Weiss who has powerful connections to the Trump Administration, ran a profile which may say more about the ultimate causes of America’s current policies, and where those policies will likely lead, than any other public document.

The profile was of Amy Chua, famously the author of Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, a mostly well-received cri de Coeur for what Chua sees as rigorous Chinese parenting; and less famously the John M. Duff, Jr. Professor of Law at Yale Law School. The profile, drawing explicitly on Chua’s most publicly recognizable achievement, was titled “The Tiger Mother Roars Back,” and its subtitle reinforced its approach, an ardent rave: “Yale tried to run Amy Chua out. Now her former students, J.D. Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy, are headed to Washington. So is she.”

For people who follow the politics of America and so of America’s empire, the forwardness of this profile raises questions. Construed as a gesture of support for two politicians, Vance and Ramaswamy, who are attempting to woo the public on populist credentials, it seems misthought. There is nothing populist about Chua—and her lacks are tells about the lacks of her mentees. Indeed, it was under Chua’s mentorship that Vance wrote a bestselling book with the encouragement of another Chua mentee, Vance’s future wife Usha, blaming the failures of his lower-income Appalachian upbringing on the “cultural” deficiencies of the community which raised him. This is a view that, since entering politics with the aim of appealing to precisely that community, he has quickly disavowed. Ramaswamy, for his part, has fallen deeply and predictably afoul of populist Americans precisely by making that case in public.

So why would Weiss, who if nothing else is a strategic operator, run a piece on Chua connecting her to Vance and Ramaswamy as well as broadcasting Chua’s views, which are anathema to the people from whom Vance and Ramaswamy want support? … continue

British journalism hits rock bottom with latest shocking revelations

By Martin Jay | Strategic Culture Foundation | February 2, 2026

From the truth about who really killed Diana to the depraved world of government officials sexually abusing children and the subsequent cover-up, it is now clear that nearly all major stories are either blocked from publication or rewritten by Soviet-style propaganda agents working for the British deep state.

Virtually nothing you read in British newspapers about security, defense, and wars is honest journalism. Instead, it is propaganda crafted by a new secret UK military department tasked with rewriting journalists’ copy or, in some cases, simply ensuring their articles never see the light of day.

That is the shocking conclusion of a new investigation by The Grayzone, which obtained secret documents exchanged between the UK and Australian governments over Canberra’s plans to adopt Britain’s “off-the-shelf” operation and incorporate it into its own government practice for handling journalists.

The impressive reporting by Kit Klarenberg and William Evans reveals, in short, that the UK military has created its own censorship department. It either blocks journalists from exposing major stories of public interest or, more commonly, redrafts the thrust of journalists’ pieces to present a different version to the gullible public.

A trove of secret communications reveals how the secretive Defence and Security Media Advisory (DSMA) Committee censors the output of British journalists while categorizing independent media as “extremist” for publishing “embarrassing” stories. What sounds like an account of secret police operations in Eastern Europe during the Soviet era, the documents show that this army intelligence department regularly blocks journalists from continuing to investigate a subject through a formal system called “D Notices” – which, remarkably, journalists almost always respect. … continue

German calls for nukes are ‘madness’ – veteran politician

RT | February 2, 2026

German politician Sahra Wagenknecht has condemned growing calls for her country to take part in nuclear rearmament, calling the proposals “madness.”

Germany is prohibited from developing nuclear weapons under international law, including the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and the Two Plus Four Treaty, the 1990 agreement that enabled German reunification in return for limits on its military capabilities, including renouncing nuclear arms.

Earlier this month, Kay Gottschalk, the parliamentary finance policy spokesman for Alternative for Germany (AfD), said that Berlin “needs nuclear weapons,” arguing that Europe can no longer rely on US protection.

In a post on X on Sunday, Wagenknecht, who previously served in the Bundestag and founded the Bundnis Sahra Wagenknecht party, said that “the cross-front for the nuclear rearmament of Germany is growing.”

“Following advances by AfD politicians for a German nuclear weapon, CDU warmonger Roderich Kiesewetter and former Green foreign minister Joschka Fischer are now also calling for Germany’s participation in a European atomic bomb. What madness,” she wrote. … continue

The Pill: Read the Insert

Lies are Unbekoming | February 1, 2026

Synopsis

More than 150 million women worldwide take oral contraceptive pills. The prescribing documents for these drugs — written by the manufacturers, approved by regulators — run to dozens of pages each. They acknowledge blood clots, stroke, heart attack, cancer associations, depression, and suppressed sexual desire. They admit that the long-term effects of current formulations “remain to be determined.” They reveal that key pharmacological parameters were never measured for some products, and that clinical trials of roughly a thousand women lasting one year serve as the safety basis for decades of continuous use. What these documents do not contain is any investigation into the cognitive, psychological, or relational effects of suppressing a woman’s natural hormonal cycle from adolescence through her reproductive years — including published, replicated research showing the pill alters mate selection.

This essay examines what five of the most commonly prescribed birth control pills in the United States say in their own labels, and what was never asked. … continue

British Intelligence Goes Full Guardian Promoting Untestable Computer-Generated Scares of Eco-System Collapse

By Chris Morrison | The Daily Sceptic | January 28, 2026

Conspiracy nuts have had a field day over the delayed release of work compiled by the British Intelligence Services warning of possible eco-collapse, mass extinctions, food shortages, conflicts and mass migration. In fact, the flimsy 14-page report is little more than a cutting job from the Guardian. Twenty-six mostly usual suspect sources are named, and highlights of the most extreme scenarios are cherry-picked in yet another Net Zero Blob effort to create population panic. Who knows how much taxpayer money was wasted on this compilation – AI could have done the job in under a minute. The obvious reason for the delay in publication was that someone intelligent in the Intelligence Services said something along the lines: ‘We can’t publish this BS, we will look complete idiots.’

The claim is that the original report was blocked at the top of the British government for being too negative. This is obvious nonsense. No claim of eco-system collapse and devastating climate change would ever be considered too extreme by almost the entire British political class, at least if past evidence is anything to go on. It appears that the report was compiled by the Joint Intelligence Committee, which coordinates the work of MI5 and MI6. It only saw the light of day with publication by the Government’s environment department following a Freedom of Information request from the Times newspaper. Green author and activist Rupert Read was suitably affronted by what was seen as a cover up.

The report is strewn with fake scares that have been widely debunked over the years. The surprise is to see some of them still being published by bodies with reputations to lose. … continue

Meet the former fashion blogger and shady doctor behind the ‘30,000 dead’ Iran psy-op

By Wyatt Reed and Max Blumenthal | The Grayzone | February 1, 2026

The claim of “30,000 killed” during two days of protests and rioting across Iran appears to be based largely on a single anonymous source, who admitted extrapolating that figure by assuming without evidence that “officially registered deaths related to the crackdown likely represent less than 10% of the real number of fatalities.”

That quote was attributed by The Guardian to an alleged doctor whose real name the newspaper refused to publish, but whose identity it claimed to have verified.

Originating in TIME Magazine on January 25th, the dubious “30,000” claim was quickly amplified by The Guardian, a key voice of left-liberal London respectability. From there, European officials seized on the death toll to justify designating Iran’s IRGC as a terrorist organization – essentially green-lighting another US-Israeli military assault on Iran.

The author of The Guardian’s article is a former fashion blogger named Deepa Parent, who has become the paper’s go-to source for Iran war propaganda, churning out over a dozen pieces for The Guardian driving the regime change narrative against the Islamic Republic since violent riots engulfed the country on January 8 and 9.

Parent has emerged as the face of The Guardian’s attacks on Iran despite having no apparent ties to the country and not appearing to speak its language. Farsi is not listed among the half-dozen languages in which she claims to be bilingual or speak in some functional professional capacity.

Before adopting the surname Parent around 2019, The Guardian’s go-to Iran reporter wrote under the name Deepa Kalukuri. Her journalistic output was largely limited to fashion reviews in Indian media. A typical piece published in India’s Just For Women magazine in 2016 was headlined: “Samantha Is Setting Some Serious Fashion Goals! Check Them Out!”

“What’s better than a Little Black Dress for a weekend party? Samantha pairs her LBD with these killer stilettos! We are loving it!!! Have a fashionable weekend!!!!”

Elsewhere, in an article informing Indian housewives that “understanding stocks is not [as] difficult as the news shows” suggested, she explained that investing was actually quite simple: “like a playing a video game but only your favorite batman is replaced with that stock broker who gives you the right advice to invest at the end of the bell.”

Published by The Guardian, sponsored by Omidyar

When the “Women, Life, Freedom” protests kicked off in September 2022 following the death of a young woman in Iranian custody, the improbable Parent suddenly materialized as The Guardian’s point woman on civic unrest in a nation with which she had no apparent professional or personal experience.

Much of Parent’s work at The Guardian’s so-called “Rights and Freedom” section has been funded by an NGO called Humanity United, which was founded by tech billionaire Pierre Omidyar and his wife, Pam. … continue

Top Israeli general secretly visits Pentagon

RT | February 1, 2026

A senior Israeli military delegation led by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir made a secret visit to Washington over the weekend amid intensifying tensions over Iran’s nuclear and missile programs and a growing US military posture in the region.

According to Israeli and US media reports, Zamir met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine and other senior US defense officials at the Pentagon to present sensitive intelligence, discuss military options against Iran and attempt to shape ongoing diplomatic contacts between the Trump administration and Tehran.

The visit, which had not been publicly disclosed at the time, comes as Israel grows increasingly concerned that President Donald Trump could ultimately strike a deal with Iran focused narrowly on freezing uranium enrichment while leaving Tehran’s ballistic missile program largely intact and without authorizing military action.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz later met with Zamir in Israel to review the military’s operational readiness “for any possible scenario,” Katz’s office said on Sunday.

The United States has increased its naval and air defense presence in the Middle East, deploying the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, additional guided-missile destroyers and advanced air defense systems in what Trump has described as a “massive and beautiful armada.” […]

While Israel is careful not to appear to be pushing Washington toward war, officials have privately warned that refraining from action after repeated threats could be perceived as Trump’s “weakness,” according to Ynet. … Full article

Bedouin village in West Bank’s Shallal al-Auja fully emptied due to Israeli settler violence

Press TV – February 1, 2026

The Palestinian Bedouin community of Shallal al-Auja, also known as Ras Ein al-Auja, north of Jericho, in the occupied West Bank has been completely forcibly emptied of its residents following years of systematic harassment and violence by Israeli settlers.

The final expulsion of the last three families on Saturday marked the displacement of approximately 120 families, totaling around 1,000 people, according to local rights groups. This is the first complete village displacement by Israel since 1967 and the largest single Bedouin community expulsion in recent history.

The Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights reported that the displacement unfolded gradually without armed clashes, underscoring its coercive nature.

Violations included repeated settler raids, physical assaults, threats particularly against women and children, destruction of homes, tents, livestock shelters, and pens, as well as theft and poisoning of sheep.

Access to vital water sources and grazing lands was severely restricted, and shepherds faced daily harassment, making sustainable life impossible.

The final stage coincided with the dismantling of tents belonging to international solidarity activists who had provided protective presence and human rights monitoring, leaving the area devoid of any Palestinian or activist presence. … Full article

Two Palestinians injured, others kidnaped by IOF in West Bank

Palestinian Information Center – February 1, 2026

WEST BANK – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and wounded two Palestinian young men on Saturday evening during a raid in al-Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah, and carried out arrests in other areas of the West Bank. […]

Two teenagers were taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Aboud town, northwest of Ramallah.

Three others were kidnaped from their homes in Azzun town, east of Qalqilya.

In al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped two young men and brutally assaulted another after ramming their vehicle with a military jeep in the village of Khursa.

Meanwhile, a horde of Jewish settlers hurled stones at Palestinian cars near al-Mazra’ah ash-Sharqiya town, northeast of Ramallah, damaging some of them.

Another group of settlers stormed the eastern plains of Turmus Ayya in Ramallah, where they damaged and set fire to trees in a Palestinian-owned grove.

Israeli Colonizers Attack Home in Far’ata East of Qalqilia

IMEMC | February 1, 2026

Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked a Palestinian home on Sunday in the eastern outskirts of Far’ata, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank.

Resident Hijazi Yamin stated that a group of colonizers from the Havat Gilad illegal colony assaulted his home with stones and prevented his family of seven from leaving.

Hijazi added that the colonizers prevented the family from moving freely, claiming they intended to graze their livestock in the area.

He also added that the colonizers released one of their dogs toward his family when they attempted to confront them and push them back, causing panic, particularly among the children.

Yamin described a profound sense of insecurity, noting that he now fears leaving his wife and children alone or allowing them to go to school or attend to daily needs, as repeated attacks have left them exposed to constant danger.

A few days earlier, the colonizers invaded the area, assaulted Yamin, stole agricultural equipment belonging to him, and vandalized water networks during the night before fleeing the area. … continue

Two Palestinians killed, others injured in fresh Israeli attacks in Gaza

Al Mayadeen | February 1, 2026

A whistleblower has filed a complaint with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accusing Google of violating its own artificial intelligence (AI) ethics policies by helping a contractor affiliated with the Israeli military apply AI to drone surveillance footage.

Google breached AI ethics

The confidential complaint, reviewed by The Washington Post, claims Google’s Gemini AI was used in 2024 by an Israeli military-linked company to analyze aerial video footage, despite Google’s stated commitment at the time not to use AI for weapons or surveillance that violated international norms.

According to internal documents submitted with the complaint, Google’s cloud division responded to a support request in July 2024 originating from an email linked to the Israeli occupation forces (IOF). … continue

From Iraq war crimes to Gaza’s ‘board of peace’: Why Tony Blair belongs in The Hague

By David Miller | Press TV | February 1, 2026

In the grotesque circus of international power plays, few performers rival Tony Blair for sheer audacity. The former British Prime Minister (1997-2007), once celebrated for his “Cool Britannia” sheen and Third Way politics, is now indelibly stained by the Iraq War debacle, a war built on deception that claimed hundreds of thousands of lives and shattered the region.

Yet in January 2026, Donald Trump appointed him to the Board of Peace, a White House-created entity chaired indefinitely by Trump himself to oversee Gaza’s “reconstruction” under a controversial 20-point plan.

The board’s founding executive includes heavyweights like Marco RubioJared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, Marc Rowan, Ajay Banga, and Robert Gabriel—figures tied to Trumpworld and Zionist interests, with no Palestinian representation.

Blair’s role is lending “statesmanlike” cover to what is seen as a colonial oversight mechanism that could facilitate displacement and control in Gaza. This isn’t redemption; it’s impunity on steroids.

Blair belongs in The Hague facing charges for aggression and complicity in atrocities—not jet-setting as a “peace” architect. This article lays bare his record, his Zionist alliances, his profit-driven institute, his billionaire backer, and why his latest gig risks making him complicit in Gaza’s ongoing nightmare. … continue

More than 100,000 march in London in support of Palestine and in rejection of the Trump-led Peace Council

Palestinian Information Center – February 1, 2026

London witnessed one of the largest pro-Palestine demonstrations since the ceasefire agreement signed in October 2025, as more than 100,000 people took part in a mass march through central London. Protesters voiced their rejection of the so-called ‘Peace Council’ led by the administration of US President Donald Trump, renewed calls to end the genocide and ethnic cleansing, and demanded the release of Palestinian detainees held in Israeli prisons. […]

The London march coincided with coordinated actions around the world highlighting the suffering of Palestinian detainees, with events taking place from the West Bank to Australia, as well as in Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Germany, South Korea, Mexico and elsewhere. Participants said the synchronized mobilization reflects the growing breadth of international solidarity and rejection of attempts to normalize or obscure crimes committed against Palestinians. … Full article

How Trump’s Iran Gambit Could Blow Up the Entire Persian Gulf

By Viktor Mikhin – New Eastern Outlook – February 1, 2026

Washington’s aggressive preparations under Donald Trump’s leadership will not bring victory but are guaranteed to result in a humanitarian and economic catastrophe for every single country in the region. This would turn the Gulf’s vital waters into the epicenter of an uncontrollable fire.

The Persian Gulf region is once again teetering on the brink of an abyss. Under the pretext of “promoting regional security,” the United States, led by its unpredictable administration, is engaging in blatantly provocative military escalation. The arrival of the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group and large-scale Air Force exercises are not steps toward stability but classic intimidation tactics. In the current climate of extreme tension, such moves risk a catastrophic blowback.

Tehran has made it clear: this time, any attack, even a “surgical” one, will be considered a declaration of full-scale war. The consequences of this decision, born of desperation and confidence after repelling aggression in June 2025, will fall not on Washington but on Iran’s neighbors across the Gulf. The US, acting as an irresponsible arbiter, is ready to set fire to a house where others live. … continue

IRGC: EU’s terrorist labeling aligns with US interventionism

Press TV | February 1, 2026

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says the European Union’s move to add the elite force to its so-called terrorist list shows its alignment with the interventionist policies of the United States.

In a statement on Sunday, the IRGC condemned the EU’s “hostile, invalid and absurd” move and expressed its appreciation to the widespread wave of support, solidarity, and the wise positions of the noble Iranian nation.

The statement came after the European Union designated the IRGC as a terrorist organization, a move condemned by Iran as illegal and irresponsible.

It said the EU designation has no legal and political legitimacy and runs counter to the principles and logic of international relations.

“Such moves will not only fail to weaken the resolve and missions of the IRGC but will instead strengthen internal cohesion and increase national determination to safeguard the country’s interests and security,” the statement added.

It emphasized that the EU’s approach disregards the destabilizing role of those who are creating crisis in the region, particularly the “savage and terrorist” Israeli regime.

The IRGC reiterated that such measures will not only fail to contribute to regional peace and security but will make the path of constructive engagement and cooperation even more difficult.

It noted that IRGC forces have never hesitated over the past decades to safeguard Iran’s independence, security, and territorial integrity, and serve the Iranian people.

According to the statement, some European countries have become a haven for various terrorist groups, including the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MKO) group, Daesh and separatist currents and continue to provide the terrorists with various forms of military, media, and logistical support. … Full article

Epstein email reveals plan to pursue frozen Libyan assets with help from former MI6, Mossad figures

MEMO | January 31, 2026

Newly released documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein show the convicted sex offender and an associate discussed plans to pursue access to Libya’s frozen state assets, including potential support from former British and Israeli intelligence officials, according to an email included in the files, Anadolu reports.

The correspondence surfaced after the US Justice Department released an additional batch of documents Friday related to the Epstein investigation.

The newly highlighted material includes a July 2011 email sent to Epstein that outlines what the sender described as financial and legal opportunities linked to political and economic uncertainty in Libya at the time.

According to the email, about $80 billion in Libyan funds were believed to be frozen internationally, including roughly $32.4 billion in the US. The sender described “stolen and misappropriated” Libyan assets as potentially worth three to four times that amount.

The correspondence argued that identifying and recovering even a small portion of such funds could generate “billions of dollars” in gains. … continue

Trump tells India to stop purchasing Iran oil, buy Venezuelan instead

Press TV – February 1, 2026

US President Donald Trump has told India to stop purchasing oil from Iran and instead supply its energy demands by buying crude from Venezuela.

“India is coming in, and they’re going to be buying Venezuelan oil as opposed to buying it from Iran. So, we’ve already made that deal, the concept of the deal,” Trump told reporters on board Air Force One on Saturday.

Earlier, Trump had threatened to slap fresh tariffs on India if New Delhi did not halt its purchase of oil from US adversaries.

However, New Delhi had resisted the threat, reminding the US president that Washington had no authority to determine the trading relations of other nations. … continue

Nearly Half of Japanese Surveyed Said They Won’t Get Vaccinated in a Future Pandemic

By Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D. | The Defender | January 30, 2026

Nearly half of the people who responded to a nationwide Japanese survey said they would not get vaccinated in a future pandemic, even if faced with a fatality rate similar to that of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among those who said they wouldn’t get vaccinated in a future pandemic, a third said they did get a COVID-19 vaccine.

The study by eight University of Tokyo researchers was published last week on the medRxiv preprint server. A total of 28,000 participants ages 15-84 took part in the survey, conducted between December 2024 and January 2025. … continue

Before You Decide: A Vaccine Research Tool

Lies are Unbekoming | January 31, 2026

Two separate conversations led to this.

A friend had started asking ChatGPT questions about vaccines. Not leading questions — just direct ones, following wherever the answers led. I watched his thinking develop in real time through the questions he asked:

How does a child catch diphtheria?

Of the countries that do not vaccinate for it, what are their numbers of cases?

How many cases of diphtheria have been found in Australia from 2020 onward?

What is the population of Nigeria?

How many children born in Nigeria are vaccinated for diphtheria?

Assuming an average of 500 deaths per annum, what percentage is that of the number of unvaccinated children?

You can see what he was doing. He wasn’t trying to catch the AI in anything. He was trying to understand the actual risk — not the risk as presented in public health messaging, but the risk calculated from the numbers.

What came back surprised him. Not misinformation or conspiracy theories — the opposite. Specific numbers that didn’t match the urgency he’d been told to feel. The AI, trained on mainstream sources, was telling him things his doctor never had. Not because ChatGPT was “anti-vaccine,” but because he’d asked questions precise enough to surface what the data actually shows.

Independently, Amelia — one of my earliest mentors in this space — proposed something similar. What if we created a set of questions that parents could use with AI? Not to generate scary stories, but to access the primary sources: package inserts, clinical trial documents, regulatory filings. The evidence that exists, and the evidence that doesn’t.

Those two conversations produced what I’m sharing today: a document called Before You Decide: A Vaccine Research Protocol. … continue

Colorado, New Mexico Lawmakers Move to Control States’ Vaccine Guidelines

By Jill Erzen | The Defender | January 30, 2026

Lawmakers in Colorado and New Mexico moved this week to extend state vaccine guidance beyond new federal recommendations. Critics warned that the changes lock in liability protections and push parents to the sidelines.

The Colorado Senate Health and Human Services Committee on Thursday approved a bill “promoting immunization access.” The bill allows the state to adopt vaccine guidelines based on recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and “other similar entities,” The Colorado Square reported.

The bill also extends liability protections for vaccine manufacturers and providers for injuries or deaths that occur from shots that follow the state’s recommendations. The bill will next go before the full Senate for debate.

Critics of the proposal pressed lawmakers early in Thursday’s hearing to confront what they claimed the bill leaves unsaid.

Pam Long, the mother of a vaccine-injured child, told the committee that vaccine liability protections are “bankrupting this state.” […]

Katy LeVasseur challenged the logic behind expanding immunity from lawsuits. “If vaccines are so safe, why does every entity that has a part in their administration need to have liability protection?” she asked. “If this vaccine liability protection is so desired, then you are admitting that vaccine injury and death are real.”

She noted that the bill repeatedly specifies who is not liable for injury or death, with “no mention of who is.” … Full article

Iowa Bill Would Require Medical Examiners to Include Vaccine Records in Infant Death Investigations

By Brenda Baletti, Ph.D. | The Defender | January 29, 2026

Iowa legislators are considering a bill that would require medical examiners to document recent immunizations on the death certificates of children who died from unknown causes, KIMT3 News reported.

Bill sponsor Rep. Samantha Fett of Warren County said this information is important to understand what might be behind deaths categorized as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

“The U.S. continues to have a high SIDS rate compared to every other industrialized nation,” Fett told The Defender. “I believe it is time to start gathering this information for the parents of the children who have died.”

Fett said health departments also should have this information so health officials and medical examiners can ensure that every medication a child takes is taken into consideration when trying to determine why a child died.

Medical researcher Neil Z. Miller, author of numerous books on vaccine safety, told The Defender that “of course” the bill is a good idea.

“A child never dies from ‘unknown causes,’” Miller said. “There is always a reason for death. Often, that reason is vaccines. But medical examiners may be ‘hesitant’ to list vaccines as the probable cause due to intense pressure from medical colleagues.”

The proposed bill would relieve that pressure. … continue

How Human Rights Watch Shattered Yugoslavia

By Kit Klarenberg | Global Delinquents | January 31, 2026

On August 25th 2025, this journalist documented how the 1975 Helsinki Accords transformed “human rights” into a highly destructive weapon in the West’s imperial arsenal. At the forefront of this shift were organisations such as Amnesty International, and Helsinki Watch – the forerunner of Human Rights Watch. Supposedly independent reports published by these organisations became devastatingly effective tools for justifying sanctions, destabilisation campaigns, coups, and outright military intervention against purported overseas “rights” abusers. A palpable example of HRW’s utility in this regard is provided by Yugoslavia’s disintegration. … continue

One killed as fresh Israeli airstrike hits southern Lebanon amid ceasefire violations

Press TV – January 31, 2026

In another near-daily violation of a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon which went into effect in November 2024, the Israeli military has conducted an airstrike in the southern part of the Arab country, killing at least one person.

Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA), citing the Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Health Ministry, confirmed the fatality on Saturday.

It said an Israeli aerial raid struck a car on the outskirts of the town of Rab Thalathin in the Marjayoun district.

The strike killed the person inside the vehicle, the agency reported, without providing further details.

The development came a day after one person was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Lebanese town of Siddiqin in the Tyre district.

The airstrike hit a vehicle, setting it ablaze, according to the NNA. … Full article

Two Palestinians injured in colonizer attack on Ma’azi Jaba’

IMEMC | January 31, 2026

Two Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday evening as they tried to fend off an attack by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers on the Ma’azi Jaba’ community, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that groups of colonizers invaded the area and set fire to one of the residential structures. Residents rushed to put out the flames, managing to stop the fire before it reached nearby homes. […]

Ma’azi Jaba’ sits among a cluster of small Bedouin and rural communities between Jerusalem and the central West Bank.

The area has long been targeted for expanded colony blocs and infrastructure projects, leaving these communities particularly exposed to pressure, land seizures, and colonizer violence.

In related news, Israeli soldiers abducted Fuad and Diab Omar al‑Jabour from the Huwara area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, after the soldiers detained several Palestinian residents who were attempting to stop Israeli colonizers from raising Israeli flags on privately owned Palestinian land in an effort to impose control over it. … Full article

Interior ministry: Israeli strike on police building in Gaza shows disregard for mediators

Palestinian Information Center – January 31, 2026

GAZA – Gaza’s interior ministry said that the Israeli targeting of the Sheikh Radwan police headquarters in Gaza City on Saturday morning was part of repeated ceasefire violations and reflected disregard for mediators and the international community.

In a statement, the ministry explained that the Israeli airstrike resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of police officers and personnel, along with several citizens inside and outside the headquarters.

The ministry described the attack as a “heinous crime” against a civilian institution that provides vital services to the population.

“This strike has joined a series of ongoing Israeli attacks that, in recent weeks, have targeted civilian and service facilities despite the ceasefire, amid growing warnings that the fragile understandings could unravel,” the ministry said.

The ministry affirmed that Israel’s ongoing attacks on civilians and humanitarian staff prove an intent to thwart international efforts to end the war and enforce a strategy of attrition and pressure on Gaza’s population.

The ministry urged regional and international mediators to shoulder their responsibilities, put real pressure on the Israeli regime to halt its violations, and provide protection for civilians and civilian facilities in Gaza.

‘Israel’ wipes out family in Gaza tent strike; 28 killed in few hours

Al Mayadeen | January 31, 2026

Israeli occupation forces have carried out a series of attacks in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday, killing at least 28 Palestinians despite a ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

The deadliest strike hit a displacement tent in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, where seven members of a single family, including five children, a woman, and an elderly man, were killed. Additional strikes across the territory contributed to the rising toll.

Since the truce took effect 111 days ago, the Government Media Office reported that Israeli occupation forces have committed 1,450 violations, including 487 incidents of gunfire, 71 incursions of military vehicles into residential areas, 679 shelling operations, and 211 demolitions of homes and buildings.

Officials warn that the repeated breaches constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law and have undermined the ceasefire’s stability.

According to the report, at least 524 people have been killed during the ceasefire period, of whom 260 were children, women, or elderly civilians. Civilians accounted for 92% of all fatalities, with 96% of killings occurring outside designated “yellow line” areas.

The wounded number 1,360, including 780 children, women, and elderly civilians. Authorities reported that nearly all injuries occurred in residential zones outside the “yellow line”. Fifty Palestinians have also been detained, all from residential areas. … continue

Hamas rejects Israeli accusations as “lies meant to justify its massacres in Gaza”

Palestinian Information Center – January 31, 2026

GAZA – The Hamas Movement has condemned Israeli claims that it violated the ceasefire agreement as “lies” and “intended to justify the massacres committed against civilians in the Gaza Strip.”

In a statement on Saturday, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem dismissed the Israeli accusations against his Movement as “baseless and unfounded,” saying they reflect Israel’s disregard for ceasefire mediators, sponsoring countries, and all the parties involved in the so‑called “Board of Peace.”

The spokesman called on the international community, the UN, and human rights organizations to “clearly condemn Israel’s massacres in Gaza, take practical steps to stop them, hold Israeli leaders accountable for their crimes, and end the policy of impunity, which encourages further killing and destruction.”

U.S. Approves $6.5 Billion Arms Sale to Israel

teleSUR | January 31, 2026

The U.S. has approved $6.52 billion in military sales to Israel, including helicopters and tactical vehicles, as the Gaza war continues.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) confirmed that the Pentagon authorized arms sales to Israel totaling approximately $6.52 billion. This includes AH-64E Apache helicopters and related equipment valued at $3.8 billion.

Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV) and associated gear worth $1.98 billion are also part of the package. “The proposed sale will enhance Israel’s ability to face current and future threats by increasing the mobility of its ground forces during operations,” the DSCA said.

The Pentagon further approved power packs for Namer armored personnel carriers, along with integrated logistics support, valued at $740 million. Rolls-Royce Solutions America is the primary contractor for this portion of the sale.

Since the Gaza war began two years ago, the United States has provided over $21.7 billion in military aid to Israel. … Full article

West’s hypocrisy over Iran and Gaza proves a regime-change operation in Tehran

Strategic Culture Foundation | January 30, 2026

The United States and the European Union are vehemently condemning Iran over alleged repression, while the West says nothing about the Israeli genocide in Gaza. The contradiction, of course, exposes the West’s rank hypocrisy. It also confirms that Iran is the target of a Western regime-change operation.

U.S. President Donald Trump this week repeated his threat to launch a blitzkrieg on Iran, bragging that an armada led by the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier was in place to strike. “Don’t make me do it,” warned Trump with thug-like menace.

Meanwhile, the European Union declared Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps a “foreign terrorist” organization. Given that the IRGC is a central component of Iran’s national security forces, the EU’s blacklisting is effectively designating the Iranian state as a terrorist entity. The EU’s provocation is paving the way for American aggression and all-out war, which will have devastating consequences, not least of all for Europe. … continue

Iran says it has enough deterrence without nukes

Press TV | January 31, 2026

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) says that the country is fully capable of defending itself without any need for nuclear weapons, amid heightened regional tensions that have raised the specter of military confrontation between Iran and the United States.

“From a strategic standpoint and given the capabilities that Iran enjoys, we basically have no need for nuclear weapons and we are capable of defending our country and have the necessary deterrence,” said Mohammad Eslami in an interview with the Avash news platform published on Saturday.

He made the remarks in response to a question on whether Iran should move toward acquiring nuclear weapons, considering the attacks it has faced from the US and Israel, and in light of the growing efforts by both countries to foment unrest in Iran and destabilize its ruling system. … Full article

No serious basis currently exists for talks between Iran, US: Araghchi

Al Mayadeen | January 31, 2026

There are currently no serious grounds for negotiations between Iran and the United States, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Saturday.

In an interview for CNN Turk, he emphasized that for talks to be productive, the atmosphere of threats and pressure must first be removed, asserting that agreeing on the framework, content, and rules of negotiations is essential to achieve progress.

Araghchi added that the United States often tries to communicate with Iran through third countries. In this context, he reiterated Tehran’s readiness for fair and balanced diplomacy. “Negotiations cannot be conducted in a dictatorial manner,” the Iranian FM said, stressing that without mutual respect and equal conditions, a fair agreement is impossible.

He also warned that any attack against Iran would be met with a “harsh and very strong” response, asserting that the country has the capability to defend itself independently. Nevertheless, he underlined that Iran’s priority remains diplomacy and expressed hope that reason and dialogue will prevail. … Full article

Trump’s war posturing against Iran traces back to Bush’s infamous 2002 ‘axis of evil’ speech

By Ivan Kesic | Press TV | January 31, 2026

On January 29, 2002, US President George W. Bush’s State of the Union Address infamously branded Iran as part of an “axis of evil,” marking a rhetorical escalation that hardened a decades-long policy of confrontation and laid the groundwork for the persistent crises that continue to threaten regional stability today.

The twenty-fourth anniversary of Bush’s “axis of evil” speech came this week amid a starkly familiar backdrop: US naval “armada” massing in the Persian Gulf and renewed threats of military action from Bush’s successor, Donald Trump.

This moment is not an aberration but the continuation of a sustained, multi-decade strategy aimed at isolating and pressuring the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The policy did not originate with Bush but in the sanctions regimes of the 1990s, significantly shaped by pro-Israeli lobbying efforts within the United States.

It hardened with the rise of neoconservative thinkers who favored regime change over containment – a doctrine vividly applied to Iraq.

Throughout a campaign of disinformation and propaganda regarding weapons of mass destruction, the leveraging of exiled terrorist groups, and a consistent narrative of Iranian threat have been employed to maintain the so-called “maximum pressure.”

As history echoes in January 2026, with a Republican administration again aligning with an Israeli Likud regime to confront Iran, the patterns of the past illuminate the perilous present. … continue

The vaccinated versus unvaccinated study does not exist.

Not “hasn’t been done well.” Not “needs more funding.” Does not exist. No large-scale, long-term study has ever compared total health outcomes of vaccinated children against those who received no vaccines at all. The most basic question a parent might ask—what happens to children who get the full schedule versus children who get none of it?—has never been answered.

Women insert products containing lead, arsenic, cadmium, dioxins, and PFAS directly against cervical tissue, for days each month, for decades. No study has examined whether this chemical exposure causes the cancer that develops in that tissue.

The long-term antidepressant outcome study does not exist.

Millions take SSRIs for decades. No study has followed patients long enough to determine whether these drugs improve life outcomes compared to people who experienced similar depression but did not take them.
